    Less expensive for a reason

    Stayed for 7 nights. Shower in first room would not reach adequate temperature. We communicated the complaint to front desk after our first night. They sent maintenance to our room. When we came back later in the day, they reported the issue had been resolved. It was not. We returned to front desk to report back. They sent maintenance back again who then reported that the issue was resolved and that the water should run 5-10 minutes to reach hot temperature. We went back to the room and ran the water for 15 minutes and it did not reach temperature above luke-warm at best. We reported back to front desk again. They called maintenance who then told them that the issue was resolved and there is nothing more they can do. Front desk offered to let us shower in another room that night because it was already 8:30pm our 2nd day and we had not been able to take a shower yet. We had been there for more than 24 hours and we wanted to shower before dinner or at least before bed. The shower in another room was much better! The next day we were offered a change of rooms but a king size bed was not available, so we had to take a room with two double beds. This would have been ok, except the double size mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. They replaced it for us, but the new mattress was just as bad. It felt like sleeping on the floor with a thin sleeping pad. We tossed and turned each night but did not want to change rooms again because of all the vaca time lost and frustration. We also had to have them fix the remote for the AC and replace the mini fridge in the new room. Entertainment at the pool at night was very loud and interfered with any chance of a quiet dinner at Sunny Side or Starboard. Market and Cafe was the best place to eat with better service and food. We were promised a follow up email to discuss compensation for our lost vacation time and sleep because the front desk manager was not available to authorize any refund when we checked out. We never received an email. The staff was very kind and especially front desk team was very good to work with aside from management not being available at checkout. It is unfortunate that they have to manage so many issues.

    Great vacation!

    Def not the Ritz, but that was obvious. Def visit the buffet next door! Great selection and bigger portions of things you like! The service was GREAT! TOP NOTCH! the coco cafe was excellent. They are trained baristas for sure. I love coffee and wasn't disappointed! The bar made beautiful drinks. The beach was great! I had a wonderful time as I brought my own snorkel equipment! Def a must! The waiters were always smiling. I would Def visit again! I had a great time!

    Kids Club is not what is advertised

    As all inclusive resorts go Sunscapae Sabor is just fine although limited choice of restaurants and menu options make it a bit tiresome for stays longer than a few days. My trip was tainted by a particular detail that made me regret my accommodation choice. My wife and I planned to scuba dive in Cozumel. We were looking for a place that provides child care, so we could leave the kids for 3-4 morning hours. As per the resorts official website child care services are included (attached screenshot). I had to be sure that the it's available every day and that it starts early enough, so we can be on time to get on the dive operator boat. So I emailed my questions and got satisfactory answer (screenshots attached). When we arrived at the resort it occurred that the Kids Club is not available if guardians are to leave the premises. In such case a baby sitter has to be hired with absurdly high rates. We decided that we need to go with baby sitting option not to lose already pre-paid and scheduled dives with outside dive operator. It soon appeared that we can't get a clear and consistent confirmation that we can leave kids with someone at 9am the latest and how the overall process looks like. For example, I was presented with a Kids Club contract (it should be available on the website to make things clear). It stated that guardians receive a pager to be contacted in case of emergency. In reality pagers were not available due to technical reasons. This situation caused tremendous amount of frustration, stress, fear for our kids and disappointment. If I wasn't misinformed about reality of child care services in the resort I'd definitely chose different place.

    Cozumel paradise at the incredible price with many things included

    Amazing beach with beautiful beach with tropical fish. Excellent bar service and drinks. Kayak, snorkeling included. Nice room. Big Thanks to all amazing staff, managers and service workers that always make sure place is clean, food is done right and to make sure that guests are happy. Definitely coming back

    Wonderful beach location

    We had a beach front room and it is located right on the beach. Amazing view of the sea and just a couple of steps until you are on the beach itself. Snorkeling right from the property was super, full of lots of tropical fish.
