Beautiful stay
Easter was the perfect time to visit Sunscape Curaçao with my family. Even though the hotel was running at high occupancy, we never felt any kind of pressure or overcrowding. The property offers a long, expansive beach, which makes it easy to find your own private spot and truly relax. The evening entertainment during Easter was excellent, and the buffet was equally impressive. Kudos to the entertainment team especially Candyman for creating such a great atmosphere. I would also like to recognize Caldeno, the concierge, who was very professional and attentive, helping us with a few small details throughout our stay. This is the true essence of hospitality.

Good beach but everything else needs fixed.
This was our second stay. No shower curtain entire stay, staff told day after day, No response. Food in buffet very poor, same food day after day. Poorb quality. and service. Bar gives you a very small plastic cups, No fancy drinks here. For what ya pay should be better.

We will return
I enjoyed sunscape. Loved the beach and it is good for snorkeling. My only issue is the room is dated but who spends time in the room anyway.

Sunscape Curaçao Resort
I stayed at Sunscape Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino over Easter with my fiancée and we genuinely had a really nice time. The cultural show on Sunday stood out the most, great energy, very well done and the dinner on the beach that day was also a highlight. The rooms are quite spacious, even if they feel a bit dated. That said, the rest of the resort really makes up for it. Overall, it’s a place where you can relax and enjoy without overthinking it.

My worst stay ever!
Extremely Disappointing Experience at Sunscape Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino – Avoid This Property I recently stayed at the Sunscape Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino for five days and found the overall experience to be one of the most disappointing all-inclusive resort visits I have encountered. Despite its promising location and amenities, the property failed to deliver even basic standards of comfort, cleanliness, and service. The swimming pool water was notably cold and visibly dirty throughout our stay. The so-called Jacuzzi or hot tub was equally cold, offering no warmth whatsoever. When I inquired at the front desk, staff acknowledged that there appeared to be a malfunction but took no meaningful action to resolve it. Over the course of five days, the issue remained unaddressed, significantly diminishing our ability to enjoy the pool facilities. Our hotel room was in poor condition—outdated, worn, and frankly disgusting. The shower drain was severely clogged, causing water to accumulate and preventing proper use. After reporting the problem to the front desk, we were assured that maintenance would be dispatched promptly. No one ever arrived, and the issue persisted for the entire duration of our stay. Additionally, there was no hot water available in the shower, making basic hygiene difficult and uncomfortable. Compounding these problems, the patio door in one of our friends’ rooms completely fell out of its frame and landed on the wife’s leg, causing injurie. Service across the resort was consistently poor. Staff members appeared disengaged and unfriendly at every interaction, conveying a clear lack of enthusiasm for their roles. This attitude was evident in all areas, from housekeeping to food and beverage service. As an all-inclusive resort, the food was acceptable but unremarkable. However, the swim-up bar—a primary reason for selecting this property—proved particularly frustrating. It opened at 10:00 AM, yet by 10:30 AM, the bartender informed us they had already run out of tequila and whiskey. When the bartender departed for a one-hour lunch break at 11:30 AM, no replacement staff member was provided. My polite inquiry regarding this staffing gap was simply ignored. Having visited numerous all-inclusive resorts and spas worldwide, I can state with confidence that this was among the worst. The combination of neglected maintenance, substandard facilities, and indifferent service fell far short of even minimal expectations for a property in this category. I would not recommend Sunscape Curaçao to anyone seeking a relaxing vacation with basic luxury or reliable amenities. Prospective guests would be well advised to consider alternative options in Curaçao or the broader Caribbean region.
