Hot and sticky
Too hot to sleep and sweat in room after shower. Shower only had half of door. Buffet was not good. Asst bones left in chicken, birds in water and juice containers. No air movement at all in buffet area.

I would not recommend this hotel
Location was good and the rooms were clean. But the workers did not care at all and you had to wait very long before you had a place in the restaurant. Also wait a long time to get a drink at the restaurant. I did not felt like the workers were friendly (some of them were)

Worst resort I have ever stayed at of the 13 Caribbean islands I’ve been to. Beach is rocks , was lied to over & over by our concierge. Food & drinks were terrible, was our 30 anniversary and traded in our gold crown resort and received less than bronze accommodations. Mambo beach next door has Dj night on Thursday,Friday & Saturday music playing to 2am and loud to where it sounds like their in your room with you. We complained and were told the Hyatt is working on sound proof glass but for now we suggest to just join the party.

The only thing nice was the beach and the waiters
It is a cross between a motel and a big cruise ship. The rooms are very dated. We booked a sea view room but were given a room with a view of a bar. That room smelt of damp and had a shower curtain as the sliding shower door was missing. They couldnt change us on the first night. So we paid to upgrade to the sun club as were told we could be in the Sun Club block and get premium drinks. So we did. The room was more modern and had a sea view. The premium drinks do not exist as far as we could tell. They were the same in every bar. If you like wine and good food, dont book this hotel. They have one white wine, Don Simon. Which is a €2 bottle of wine in Spain that is used for making Sangria or cooking. This white wine was often served warm. So after eating in the buffet restaurant the first night (think school dinner type food) and then waiting 1hr to be seated at the Italian the 2nd night, we ate out every night after that (even though it was fully inclusive) and had nice wines and amazing fish and seafood next door in Sea Side Terrace (where the manager said that he gets a lot of hotel guests coming for dinner as they are fed up with the food and wine and waiting times at the hotel). The Sun Club did offer a la carte breakfast at the Italian restaursnt which was good. But we only found that out be accident on our second to last day as no one told us at the checkin desk. We couldnt change room until 5pm as even though check in is at 3pm, changing rooms is at 5pm. I guess that is so you dont use the Sun Club pool or bar until the next day. I have never been to a hotel where you could not change rooms in the morning if there was a problem with our room. The waiters and waitresses were all really nice and the beach is lovely with amazing snorkeling but the hotel is let down by the food, wines and run down buildings (we stayed in 2 of the C shaped buildings. Block 7 and 8)

VACATION FROM HELL
VACATION FROM HELL!!!!! I'VE BEEN TRAVELLING 25 YEARS AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS. THE HOTEL DESPERATLY NEEDS A MAJOR MAKE A MAJOR MAKE UP. HORRENDOUS FOOD. WALKED OUT OF 2 RESTAURANTS. THE BUFFET HAD ABOUT 5 ITEMS TO EAT.NO MENUS EVERYTHING HAD TO BE SCANNED. DON'T ASK FOR A FROZEN DRINK, OR A SPECIAL GLASS OF WINE ONLY HAD 1 HORRIBLE BRAND, DON'T FORGE NOTHING WAS CHARGED TO YOUR ROOM. WE MOVED ROOMS 4 TIMES DUE TO BROKEN A/C. I HAVE BAD NEUROLOGICAL PROBLEMS WITH MY LEGS, THE ELEVATOR CONSTANTLY BROKE SO I HAD TO WALK DOWN 5 SETS OF STAIRS. THE BEACH WAS VERY WINDY. THE 2ND DAY I FELL IN THE OCEAN AND CUT MY KNEE VERY BADLY, NOT ONE FIRST AID KIT. MY HUSBAND PAID $11 FOR A BOX OF 6 BANDAIDS. HARDLY ANYONE SPOKE ENGLISH!!!! WHEN THEY HAD ENTERTAINMENT, IT WAS LOUD AND UNBEARABLE. I DO WANT TO SEND A SHOUT OUT TO ELTON FROM THE CONCIEREGE . HE WAS VERY HELPFUL TO US. I THINK EVERYONE RECIEVED MY MESSAGE, IF YOU HAVE PLANS TO GO THERE IF YOU CAN CANCEL THEM. IT'S A WASTE OF YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!
