Sunscape Coco is essential to relax at Punta Cana
I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sunscape Coco Punta Cana and couldn’t recommend it more highly. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The resort itself is stunning — beautifully maintained, with lush gardens, clean pathways, and a gorgeous beachfront that feels like paradise. The beach was one of the highlights of my stay: soft white sand, crystal-clear water, and plenty of space to relax without ever feeling crowded. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and always spotless thanks to the excellent housekeeping team. Every detail was taken care of, making it easy to fully relax and enjoy the experience. What truly made this stay exceptional, however, was the staff. Every single person I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely dedicated to making guests feel at home. Their positive energy and attention to detail made a huge difference throughout my stay. The food was another big highlight — a great variety of restaurants and cuisines, with consistently good quality. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there was always something delicious to enjoy. There were also plenty of activities and entertainment options available, but at the same time, the resort never felt overwhelming. It strikes the perfect balance between fun and relaxation. I stayed for 8 days and honestly wish I could have stayed longer. It was a truly memorable experience, and I would definitely return without hesitation. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, beautiful, and well-managed all-inclusive getaway in Punta Cana!

Family of 6 - Four rated it 4+, two rated it 2-
Personally, I had a great time at the resort for 10 days. My wife and one son on the other hand, not so much. The weather was amazing, sunny and comfortable. It rained twice and it was in the evening / night, so it was a non issue and on the second last day before leaving. There was always something to fill you at the buffet, which presented well. The omelet bar was a hit, the pizza was great, and the food was generally hot though I did have a cold 1/2 chicken. The a la carte restaurants that we hit (Tiki Taco, Tierra, Da Mario) were good, but preferred the Kaleidoscope buffet as there was something for everyone. The most dependable snack was the burger / fries / nachos at the Flip Flopz bar & snack. I can only speak for the Sun Club experience as it worked best for us. The Windows buffet was busy and the other pools were also too busy for me. We had a swim out room initially that my wife couldn't stay in due to the musty smell. A Rep came in with some air freshener to spray in the corners while my wife was out...I chuckled and told her she would definately be over to see her, to discuss her efforts. We were relocated to a Presidential Suite that was quite nice but we lost the social aspect of having the kids join us as the hang out room because it overlooked a big bush on the backside of the building. The next day we moved to our 3rd room...a pool view that was quite decent. Room 1155. We had the widest section of grass between our room and the pool so the kids would lay out there and go between lounging and swimming. One of their rooms was directly across in Room 2255, and the other was Room 2227. Both of their rooms were clean and as expected. The drawback for my wife was the feeling of not getting to relax and unpack for a few days, as well as just expecting MORE. My middle son suffered a bout with a bacterial infection (I kept him company for 24 hours at the Hospital). There were a few others that had a similar experience that we met there in conversation... I would return however, I don't believe at least two other family members would. I have always believed you could get sick anywhere on holidays and so we can't really pinpoint the cause. We were careful, using only bottled water for everything. Our Maid Juanita was awesome! Our regular Bartender Yurkie was great as well...remembering our cups perfectly. The Sun Club beach was good, I got out one morning for sunrise photos so I was able to secure a shaded spot but they fill up early. If you are choosing this resort, lower your expectations and you'll have a great time with great company. We met many great people that we will for sure keep in touch with! Oh, and hit the market >5 minutes to the left when you walk out the front gate or bring your own sunscreen because the prices at the Resort Store are insane.

Fun in the sun
We were Sun Club.. our room was fabulous so much room.. first time we had a swinout room .. it wasn't long and I was getting in our pool first thing was the step on the ladder to get in the pool was bent in the shape of a V so I couldn't use it to get out had to jump up on the edge and slide my bum to my lounger to get myself out.. that was no good for me so went to the desk and asked to be moved closer to the main pool.. building 3 or 4 they were very accommodating the next day got moved to building 3.. very happy with that. The resort is very big but most everything is around the main pool..the burgers at the snack machine are delicious and the brazilian restaurant was the best then chopsticks.. the service in the buffet windows was not good could have our breakfast eat before we got our coffee but the food was good..the best part of our trip was meeting Cecilia out food and drink concierge.. her attention to detail was outstanding... she got us (5 of us) in at 6 every day for supper and nothing was to much trouble...beautiful smile.. beautiful person... she is so good had her job and she sure made our trip more pleasurable.. we have made a friend for life.. hope you treat her good because she is a bonus to your resort..

Amazing service
Edward from the UVC Concierge was simply the best. In all our years as members, no one has ever made us feel as respected and valued as he did. His attention and professionalism set the tone for our entire stay. At the Sunclub Beach Members area, Vilenia Martinez treated us like family from day one. We spent every single day at the beach, renting a Bali bed for our entire stay, and she was always on top of everything we needed. Her care and attentiveness made our days there absolutely perfect. Pedro at the Flip Flopz bar delivered amazing service every time—friendly, consistent, and always making sure we were taken care of. Precius at the Flip Flopz snack area was just as wonderful—attentive, kind, and very respectful throughout our stay. Jinett at Coco 2.0 deserves special recognition as well. No matter how busy it got—even with a line of 20 people at 7 AM—she always had a smile and remained incredibly kind and welcoming. That kind of energy makes a huge difference. We also want to thank Evelin, Anela, and Raquel at the Sunclub buffet. Their service was consistently amazing, and they always treated us with such warmth and kindness. And finally, Yurke at the Sunclub pool bar—so sweet, so friendly, and a pleasure to be around every day. Because of all of these amazing individuals, our stay wasn’t just good—it was truly unforgettable. They went above and beyond in every interaction, and we are so grateful. This is exactly what hospitality should feel like, and it’s the reason we’ll keep coming back.

Good Vacation Resort
I rated 4 out of 5 because the breaking points for me were the rooms unfortunately some of the rooms Air conditioning do work well and some don’t work to well I unfortunately also have to add that one of my family members was injured, and was taken to the on site clinic which thank fully it was very clean Some more cons but trust me the pros out weigh them ❌Lots of seaweed but Mother Nature can’t be controlled but the resort does its best to remove it. ❌Pools should be open longer they close at 7pm open at 7am ❌ Beach flags are not viewable from wear the pole is located and resort flag’s meaning is different then the life guard towers meaning Now on to the Pros ✅Coffee drinks , absolutely amazing chefs kiss ✅Cleanliness (Amazing) ✅Kaleidoscope Buffet ( DELICIOUS ) unfortunately for Sun club members only ✅ Staff Members ✅ They have and make real Canadian Ceasers ✅ Nightly Events ✅lots of choices for restaurants ✅ AVIATORS DREAM HOTEL , on the flight path of Departing flights leaving DM. R ✅ security
