A Lovely Celebration of Our 10 Year Anniversary
My wife and I have been members of Unlimited Vacation Club for nearly a decade, and we have taken many wonderful trips to Secrets resorts in Mexico and the DR. For our 10th wedding anniversary we decided to try the Zoetry experience and we're so glad that we did. ZAPC is a beautiful resort; so lush and tropical. The grounds are gorgeous, immaculately maintained and really give a feeling of peace and tranquility. We loved to walk around after dark, there are lighting features and fountains; it's incredibly romantic. We stayed in a Romantic Junior Suite Agua Swimup King; it was recently renovated with phenomenal amenities and perfectly located on the resort. We spent our days lounging on our patio, across a bridge from the main pool, swim up bar and the poolside lunch spot. We could see and hear the beach from our suite, but we didn't spend a lot of time there. The water is a little rough, and the sand isn't soft or white. If you're looking for a great beach, it's the one place that this resort falls short; we knew this going in and we booked a swim out, which I highly recommend. Instead of going to the beach we went to the spa for the unlimited access to the hydrotherapy circuit, which had a sauna, steam room and a jacuzzi pool. We went to the spa every day, usually twice. There was a 20 minute relaxing couples massage included, and my wife had a 50 minute massage as well. All of the services at the spa were great. The food is very good for an all inclusive. Everything tasted very fresh. We loved the fruit and fresh squeezed juices. My wife and I don't eat beef or pork, all of the restaurants asked about our preferences before every meal. There are only 3 restaurants and they switch their menu every other night, so we would check the Hyatt Inclusive Collection App every afternoon to decide our dinner plans. We ordered 2 or 3 appetizers, salads or soup, and 2 or 3 entrees to share. The lunches by the pool were also good, the ceviches and dominican buffet stood out. What truly made our stay fantastic was the service and staff at ZAPC! Our butler Amada was very sweet and attentive. She arranged an anniversary celebration on the beach for us with cake and champagne, and took lots of pictures that she shared with us. Alejandra and Wirca brought us drinks and food to our patio while we relaxed at our swim out every day. Kierin, Chamel and Leidy started our days with a smile at Indigo breakfast. Maria, Fernando and Yohanna took great care of us at Piragua. Luis and Kierin always knew us by name at Amaya. Karina at the Canoa Bar and Coco Cafe made the best drinks. And Rubelina at UVC made sure our stay was superb.

Disappointed
We are globalists and travel 100 plus days a year for leisure. Our 5 night stay at the Zoetry PC was disappointing. When spending $1,200 per night you expect much more from the food offerings and management. Breakfasts and lunches were sub par with dinners being good not great 4 out 5 nights. We ordered room service for lunch on a rainy day. Went through through the APP and ordered two burgers. Simple. After 30 minutes I sent a request through the APP and inquired about status of the order. Did it twice. No response. When the food was delivered 15 minutes later it was 1 burger and was another rooms order. I reached out to our concierge (BTW Jose was amazing) and said he would take care of it. 20 minutes later we got our 2 burgers and over cooked. But we ate them anyway as were hungry. New Years day we booked a spa day starting at 10:30. BTW the spa was the only bright spot of our trip. We were at breakfast well before our spa appt and ordered our food. We were the only ones in the restaurant. I had to ask the server about our food a few times and she said its coming. 40 minutes later she came out and said they were out of what I ordered. My wife just got her food. We needed to be in the spa in 15 minutes so I told here I would just eat part of my wife's omelet. Ridiculous. Same thing happened at late lunch one day when I ordered the fish and chips. Had it the other day and it was good. enough. Basically they brought me sardines that were fried. I am a seafood lover but the strong fishy taste was somewhat nasty. I told them politely and ordered a hamburger. By this time the restaurant was basically empty maybe 2 more tables. I had to ask the server several times where is my hamburger and they told me its coming. 30 minutes later I went up to the chef and asked what's going on its just a Hamburger. He just looked at me and the server said don't worry its coming. 15 minutes later still no burger. I left without lunch and went to talk to management. The front desk said they were in a meeting and could not be bothered. I told them I am super disappointed and really wanted to talk to one of them. Front desk said they cannot be bothered. Amazing that management would react that way. Went back to the beach and she finally came down to talk to me. She was totally disinterested and really did not listen to me and just gave me lip service. Poor training. Our concierge (BTW Jose was awesome) gave us the general managers information and I sent Mr. Arribe an email with all of our issues (there were more but I am tired of typing). His response was typical of a poorly trained manager. "We will address these with the team and do better". The Zoetry Los Cabos was a 5 star stay. Thats what we were expecting. Sincerely, a very disappointed long time Globalist.

Beautiful premises, very peaceful beach, great staff
The hotel campus is very pretty. We had a beach view suite and had a great view from our patio door. The location is very quiet. In fact one evening I managed to sleep on the beach. The restaurants are good but could use a little variety on the menu. The staff was very attentive. The infinity pools are located right in front of the beach and are well maintained.

Our Best Zoetry experience so far!
In short, ZPC was even better than we had expected, and we have stayed at 2 other Zeotry resorts in the past. With only 92 suites, this jungle style 'zen retreat' resort was amazing! We got an early check-in at 11am, and late checkout at 6pm! Super friendly staff, spotless resort and beautiful, recently refurbished rooms. The 3 restaurants were open on rotation and all had pretty good menus, and great food. Top shelf liquors included Macallan 12, Buchanan 12 and JW Double Black etc. Canoe Bar staff Joel and Karina were great. Our butler Alexandro was very attentive, and the other staff were outstanding too, including Bejemin the Entertainment lad. Just one demeaning UVC sales representative let the team down. We've been to Zoetry Rolandi and Zoetry Parisio Bonita (both closed now), and this one just edging them overall.
