  Amazing stay and holiday.

  We have just come back from a ten day stay at Zoetry Punta Canta. Wow what a beautiful tranquil, luxurious hotel. Despite the weather being changeable our stay was rejuvenating and we were looked after impeccably by Emmanuel our concierge. What an asset to your hotel he is and a genuine lovely kind guy. Thank you so much for everything you did for us. There was so much to do despite some rainy days, pottery, the spa . The gym was well equipped and my husband and his friends had great workouts with Junior the gym instructor. The Indigo restaurant gave us an amazing welcome and food ,service with beautiful sea views every day. Henri, Leidi, Chanel, Fernando, Merlin, Keiren , Zuleima, Orquidea and Jendiler. Thank you what a team. The pool bar was amazing with pizza from Luis, flowing drinks from Alejandra, Wilco,Julian and Charlie . Nothing was too much and their smiles were infectious. All the restaurants served amazing food and the lunchtime buffets were delicious. Our room was on one of the best most comfortable, we have stayed in and the mini bar was stocked twice a day and the room kept spotless by Santa. We will definitely be back one day and already miss the beautiful Zoetry hotel. One small thing was the pool could have been warmer but we had unusual amounts of rain that didn’t help. We arrived tired, stressed and needing a break. We certainly had that and left feeling relaxed, chilled, throughly spoiled and a few pounds heavier!! Thank you we will be back. Xxxx

  5 star vacation

  Walk don’t run to Zoetry if you are looking for a relaxing tranquil hotel with excellent restaurant options and a beautiful beach. The hotel felt quiet even though they were almost at capacity it was quiet. The many pools allow groups to spread out across the property. The rooms were recently renovated and very spacious and nice. It was a luxury experience

  Birthday celebration at Zoëtry

  I have stayed at this hotel during first week of January. The most serene, beautiful and relaxing place I have been to. Beach is amazing. Rooms are spacious clean with many great features inside. Staff treats you like family and know you by name. Our concierge Diomedis did exceptional job making our holiday and a more memorable experience. He had a nice surprise waiting for me in a room on a day of my birthday. Felt really special. Entertainment staff Gilbert and Tanya both hardworking kind and amazing individuals making resort experience more personalized and special. Tanya runs sound healing workshops on Sundays amazing experience. Gilberto does amazing work ensuring nightly entertainment is fun and relaxing. Loved flamenco, circus and live guitar performances at night. Indigo breakfast/lunch restaurant hostess Leydi knew us by name and was always helpful with any requests. Her smile would made our mornings more happy and joyful. Yellim was our server and helped with every breakfast and lunch order making recommendations and helping with customization of a simple breakfast order. Alejandra Wilca & Charlie were our favorite beach servers I really enjoyed fresh coconuts on beach and exceptional service. Made our days more easy going and relaxing. Head chef of the resort Octavio is from Peru and ensures every meal we had tasted amazing. We really like individual pizza at the pool and barbecue options :) We also really liked all of the restaurants best meal was fusion options from Amaya and Mediterranean menu from restaurant Olena. Piraya restaurant had very yummy soup and steak. Hostess Sorry from Amaya was always happy and pleasant to interact with making recommendations on wine and dishes. Karina from coffee shop made our coffees each day we really likes cappuccinos lattes espresso and freshly baked croissants. I also took some fitness classes with Jason fitness instructor he was very fun energetic and pleasure to work out with. Would definitely come to this beautiful place again.

  Outstanding choice.

  Excellent resort. Great service from the staff. The food was good with healthy choices. Plenty of searing at the pool & the beach. The room was beautiful. I highly recommend & will return. If you want great service with no buffets this is your place. Only saw about 4 well behaved children & they were only here to attend a wedding.

  Less than prior Zoetry vacations

  This was my fourth stay at a Zoetry resort, two prior vacations at Cancun and one prior at Punta Cana. Our satisfaction from this recent vacation provided mixed results, good and not so good. Previously I had consistently recommended Zoetry to friends as the ultimate vacation experience, our return to any Zoetry is doubtful AREAS OF SATISFACTION (4) 1. Staff interaction - 10 out of 10. Kudos to EnManuel. 2. Physical ground such as pools, landscaping, public building, beach maintenance. 10 of 10 3. Pool side lunches were all excellent. 4. Grilled fish, vegetables, hamburgers were excellent AREAS NEEDING IMPROVEMENT. (10) 1. Initial room assignment of 167 was not acceptable. Ultimately we were moved to room 121. Lack of a functioning thermostat in 167 is likely the culprit. Temperature controls were completely inoperable. We travel with a portable hygrometer, the room temperature was regularly 18 degrees centigrade regardless of thermostat parameters. The suggestion of manually turning the unit 'off and 'on' to achieve a comfortable level was not an acceptable solution and we were moved. Lighting in the closets and shower area of 167 is also inadequate. Perhaps brighter lights with dimmer switches are a solution. 2. Room 121 was a welcome change from 167. Room 121 provided a mini-fridge and wine cooler. The mini fridge was either a second wine cooler or an actual mini fridge in need of service or replacement. I did not want to become a nuisance to staff and lived with not having a working mini fridge. 3. The 'new' building has increased lighting, larger patio, plunge pool, etc. Room 121 has increased lighting, but the improved lighting has unintended consequences. We did not travel with a night-light to illuminate the journey to the bathroom. The bathroom light would only function if the lights by the sinks were on, strikingly illuminating the sleeping area. Our solution was use the light in the shower area and pull the sheet over our heads. We did not imagine needing sleep masks at Zoetry. 4. Restaurants - In 3 prior vacations at Zoetry, including Punta Cana, I never experienced so many meals served at room temperature. Baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, soups, appetizers, and entrees are among the examples. 5. Quality of rib-eye, filet mignon and BBQ ribs was very disappointing. The restaurant serving rib-eye steak had inadequate lighting necessary to perform surgery removing unsavory aspects of the steak. 6. Numerous desserts are not correctly identified, such as carrot cake and key lime pie. 7. The last 4 days, ONLY the Indigo restaurant was able to provide decaffeinated coffee. All other restaurants and coffee shop were out. 8. Uneven staffing. I learned from this trip it is preferable to arrive Sunday afternoon and leave Friday. Restaurant staffing levels on the weekend are inadequate resulting in extreme delays. We did not raise this issue with restaurant staff, they apologized for delays due to low staffing levels. 9. Many menus did not include nutritional information, which was standard on Zoetry menus. 10. Jacuzzi in the spa was barely warm, drastically reducing time in the Jacuzzi.
