I’d like to start with the positive…The room was very nice as was the view of the marina. In addition the people were very nice. I’d specifically like to call out Chef Fransisco who prepared my birthday meal, our concierge Maria, our bell boy/cart driver. Chanel, waitstaff Sandy and Frank and Mini Baby at the pool. The challenges at this resort abound. The food is just atrocious. We had a special dinner prepared for my birthday, which was our last night there ( this was because my friend complained ). The only meal that was consistent was the made to order omelettes at breakfast. The food lacked flavor and was consistently overcooked. The bar does not have any top shelf liquor, I would have been happy to pay an additional fee for the privilege. In addition I only had one shower that was semi warm on the first night. The other issue was the lack of “service mindset”. The people were very nice, but there did not seem to be a sense of urgency; everything based on what was referred to as “Dominican Time”-15 minutes=1 hour. I am also used to having waiters for food or drinks at the pool, but here you had to go to the bar for service. This could be a great resort. The rooms are nice and the location with the shops, casino, beach and outside restaurants could be a great draw. If you ever get your food situation corrected, I’d return, but as of now, this was the worst resort experience I have had in the Punta Cana area, and I have visited at least 5 times. Perhaps you could send your staff to the Melia or one of the other direct beach resorts to review their food, shows, and customer service levels.

Not the best of resorts! Service was ok. For the money, I expected better! Food was below average. Overall, would not recommend this resort to anyone.

It was a great resort! Warm welcoming from the staff. Food was amazing! Beach is small. Pool was large and plenty of space and chairs to lounge. Overall experience was 9/10 would recommend.

This hotel went above my expectations, I was so thankful to the staff, they made our stay hassle free. The animation team was AMAZING so great. I had a very relaxing time by the pool, the drinks were great and the food was even better. I was very impressed with our room as the bed was so comfy and clean! I cannot wait to go back next year or sooner. Wonderful hotel!

Wonderful experience
Hello to all ; I stayed at this wonderful Hotel at Cap Cana and I must say it was delightful and friendly and the food was sooo good but there was one gentleman by the name of Charlie and because of Charlie we had the best time ever Charlie was the best host I have ever had and please believe me I travel a lot and Charlie was always warm hearted and gave us great advice where to visit but most of all his care made us stay on the property most of the time and Charlie was such a great entertainer as well I thought I was watching a Vegas show in the evening and to all out there please come here and have that great experience and laughter and beautiful beaches and warm hearted locals it was amazing and hopefully we shall meet you there and I am sooo grateful to Mr Charlie thank you thank you .
