Great location!
This property is beautiful! The location is a quick walk to where all the shops are. We stayed here for a girls trip. We enjoyed sitting out by the firepit in the evening with wine from the lobby bar. The rooms seemed to be a bit dated, but very clean. The only reason I didn't rate a 5 was because on the day we arrived, we were not checked in until after 5pm. I am unsure what happened, but we were late for our dinner reservation. I understand things happen, so it doesn't deter me from staying again. It just wasn't a great arrival experience. The staff was nice.

Wonderful experience
When you walk in it is very clean, the valet service is quick and friendly, the front desk a staff is kind and helpful. When you get into your room they are very big suites, bigger than most. I did not find one speck of dust, fingerprints stains on the carpets or furniture etc. Nothing wrong with the room, they're immaculate. Not sure why everyone is saying that the rooms are "dated", they really aren't. I'm more concerned with cleanliness in my hotel room and like I said, everything was perfect. The only think I noticed is there are no trash bags, so that was interesting, but probably because of a California sustainability law. Thank you Don Shindle for allowing our family to stay with your property.

Slightly disappointing
Based on the hefty price I paid for a night, I expected a little bit more from the Westin Verasa. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable; unfortunately, that was just about it. The room was in desperate need of an update and was situated next to an atrium that got noisy with rowdy, wine-fueled guests. The shower worked intermittently, the TV in the room was ridiculously small and oddly placed. There was also no room service. Self-parking wasn’t also available (valet was). Location-wise, it’s in a great spot in Napa, just a short walk to downtown and the public market.

Quick weekend trip
I enjoyed the experience from check-in to check-out. The staff I interacted with were friendly and responsive. The location is less than a 10 minute walk to downtown. Decent amount of equipment in the gym. My room had a bit of a smell the second day- keeping the door opened helped. I'd stay here again.

Quality and caliber diminished over the years.
My wife and I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years for quick weekend getaways or anniversaries. However, over the last couple of visits, we started noticing that the quality has diminished considerably. For example, on the last occasion, we were given a room where the room service tray was still at the door when we arrived. There were dirty stains on the curtains, and you could tell that the room was hastily cleaned. We brought it to the attention of the front desk, and they were nice enough to offer a voucher for our next stay. Unfortunately because of our negative experiences, we did not even take them up on staying there again. It’s clear that because this location is a franchise, they haven’t invested in the upkeep or maintenance of the place so that it has become quite warn and outdated dated over the years. Unfortunately, the quality is more akin to a low to mid range Sheraton , and certainly not a Westin in the Napa Valley.
