    Gone downhill

    We used to stay here all of the time but it’s gone downhill!! Property and rooms are dated and poorly cared for. Wallpaper coming off of walls in hallways and room. Towel holder hung crookedly. Dusty room - I dusted the nightstand myself. Bathroom door doesn’t slide fully closed. Needs new mattress - clearly older. Only positive, kind front desk staff and valet.

    Doesn’t deserve 4 stars

    Room was dated and the temperature control kept sticking on a higher temperature so we had to turn it off. The complimentary coffee creamer was rancid. When we returned from our wine tasting the 2nd day and the room wasn’t clean we were told that they didn’t clean it because “ when the hotel is busy we don’t clean your room unless you request it”. However this wasn’t explained or offered when we checked in, so how were we to know that the hotel was busy. Not customer friendly.

    Excellent stay

    We had a great visit at this hotel. It was the perfect homebase for a 5 day vacation in Napa - close to the wineries and next door to Oxbow (great for gifts, wine, oysters, tacos, beer, burgers, pizza), and walking distance of some great restaurants in Napa. It was a 10 minute drive through the vineyards to get to most of the wineries in Napa Valley - Yountville and north. The hotel rooms were great - large, quiet and had great views from the balconies. The heated pool and jacuzzi were beautiful. Daily housekeeping was excellent, as was the front desk staff. Great hotel and we will stay there again!

    Not enough consideration to guests’ property

    Very pleasant hotel, staff were all very friendly and nice. Grounds are lovely and pool is wonderful! Would have given a five star review, but I’m very disappointed in the maid service. I left a good tip after staying in my room for two days. Wish I could get that back, because a swimming suit I hung on the back of the door and inadvertently left behind was apparently tossed out like trash when it would have been simple to take to lost and found. I *may* return to stay at this hotel - have stayed there other times when visiting the area - but if I do, I will not be tipping the maids. This disrespectful behavior is an embarrassment for this hotel and a disservice to the other hardworking staff.

    Convenient Stay

    It was a nice stay in a convenient location next to the Oxbow Market. The coffee maker in the room was nice. However, the rooms and the hotel need renovation. Everything was fairly tired. The dog-friendly policy was a true bummer. We had a dog in the room right down the hall from us that barked incessantly. Dogs were allowed throughout the hotel lobby and in the elevators. I hope the hotel will rethink this policy. It is a true turnoff.
