WORST HOTEL EVER
This hotel is a scam! I paid my 2 rooms for 1 night stay upon check in and they still asked for deposit incidental charge which I gave cash instead of CC, upon check out they refused to give back my cash. Saying that their system is down that they are unable to check and saying that at that time of the day (4AM in the morning - I had to catch a flight) they do not have cash at the Front Desk. I asked my money to be transferred back to my bank account because I live in Indonesia, they refused and insisted on sending a check which is useless in my country as non of the bank accept foreign check. From Aug up to today, they are still keeping my money - amount of USD600. Reached out to the GM - useless - cannot solve anything. I stayed for 1 night 2 rooms only and they asked for USD600 for deposit/incidental charge. Red flag since the beginning. IT IS MY MONEY and they make it difficult to give back!!! Not just this case, staff attitude were a big ZERO. staff at the front desk, staff at the lounge... all the same. Room was average. Housekeeping left some cleaning cloth in the bathroom. They forgot to place towels in the room. Had to asked and waited 1 HOUR for them to deliver the towel. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE experience at this hotel.

Totally bummed because we didn’t get to see the beautiful sunset
We wanted to take our team up to do an overview of Metro Atlanta and share the wonderful experience of toasting with a cocktail while watching the sunset at 5:30pm. We made 5pm reservations and were told before we even could check in that we each would have to order an entree, not just apps and drinks as we had planned, so we did not get on the elevator. Have lived and worked here since 2010 and this is a veryyyy disappointing way to treat your locals, our visitors, and all tourists. A solution could be to sell tickets like The Empire State Building does…don’t make us spend $100-$120 though. Offer your locals and the military/veterans a discount. MANAGEMENT: PLEASE train your Bar 210 crew on hospitality. We had to barter with the young lady to get her to clean the dirty table that was semi-available. We had to ask for and received a fork, napkin, and plate individually when our Sharables came out. Three servers watched us struggle with trying to eat our food with no fork or napkin. The Peach Margarita was very delicious once we got our cocktails from the lone bartender at this 4-star establishment.

Don't stay here .
DO. NOT. STAY. AT. THIS. HOTEL. Disclaimer: staff are nice and friendly---that's the only reason they are getting 1 star. This hotel is dirty, neglected, and has no services. After multiple requests neither my coworkers or myself could get our rooms cleaned. I had to beg for towels, toilet paper, and soap. My first room had no hot water; I had no close; a coworkers bed had sheets with blood stains on them; there were no mini-fridges in rooms. I tried to be very patient, because staff were nice, but after 4 days I had my fill. Also, the walls are dirty, need paint, carpet is stained and dirty. Just needs a facelift and more staff.

Disappointed
We used points to stay for 2 nights and what a waste. The room was dingy, and everything was broken - burnt out lights, bed on plywood, broken shower handles, etc. but the worst part was the smashed in safety lock. That made us feel really uncomfortable.. We also never received housekeeping during our stay and wouldn't walk around in our bare feet because the rug felt gross. There are so many hotels in Atlanta that I would choose somewhere else.

Two thumbs down
It’s after 830pm and I’m still waiting for my room to be available. No compensation. No apologies. After a long day of travel, the last thing I want to do is sit in the lobby for 3 hours, yet here I am. This is my last stay at a Marriott. What happened to the superior service?
