Security guard (Nathaniel Gregg) made my mom's day on her 73rd birthday!
My family decided to drop in on my mom's 73rd birthday for lunch. We didn't realize the restaurant wasn't open until 2 p.m. The security guard, Nathaniel Gregg, took us upstairs so that my mom could see the views of the city for her birthday. He was very thoughtful and really made her day.
My stay here was just OK. The common areas on my floor were bad — boxes of half eaten pizza were there for hours. Also it was pretty noisy as well. I also had terrible Wi-Fi problems and I think my TV was haunted. On the plus side, the staff was nice and helpful.
Not happy with stay, at all
First, check in time was 4pm. We tried to check in at 5:30pm but was told our room was not ready. We waited 1 hour for it to get ready. Once we got to our room, it was supposed to be 2 queen beds, it was 1 queen bed. We did not have time to call the front desk and complain because we were already late for our concert. When we arrived back from our concert, there was an additional roll away bed left in our room. Unacceptable. Not happy with our stay at all.
Room not even close to ready by dinner time!
Showed up to check in. Line nearly out the door. As of 5:30 PM they told us our room still wasn't ready and had no idea a timetable of when it would be... at Nearly $500 a night I would think you could do better. It's a rip off to charge high rates and not have a room for hours.
A nice stay
Great stay. I enjoyed breakfast each morning and drinks in the evening. The room was clean and pleasant. As always the beds were amazing. No cleaning service, so more coffee should have been available in the room. The bathroom was particularly small for a Westin. Overall, the stay was delightful
