Worst Hotel Ever ….
Worst hotel ever …. We stayed there overnight with our 2 kids. Everyone working seemed so unhappy. We got into our room and there was a drill above our room going on for construction at 7 am. We called the front office and they said security will look into it. After a while I went downstairs to talk to front office and while waiting in the line the security person said please wait for her ( didn’t get her name) . While waiting for her to get free as she was busy with other people, the your guy whose name was Josh got free. Josh- Can I help you ? Me - I’m waiting for her. Josh- Can you step on the side then? Me- Why, I’m not holding the line , I’m letting anyone behind me fox Josh- Whatever …. This is not what we all want from Westin … Never staying here

Dirty hotel! Do not stay!
Where do I begin? The hallways were dark, dirty, smelled, and the carpet was worn. We walk into our first room and the room smelled like a dirty animal kennel. There were poop stains on the carpet. we were moved to another room. The room was fine, but the wake-up call of several dogs barking at 7 am at the local dog kennel for airport employees, was the straw that broke the camels back. I would compare this hotel to a Motel 8. You would do better finding another hotel closer to the airport.

Marriott Business Travelers - Do not book this hotel, no benefits, too much $, choose other hotels over this one!!
A bad Westin no benefit for business travelers. No ice on floors .Concierge lounge - no food in it. Airport shuttle only2 an hour. Rude front desk. Cut staff hours are noticed. Old hotel. Bad $ hotel. The hotel is further from LAX than other Marriotts, can’t walk to it and no other dining around it. You’re welcome - thanks for being a Marriott —- Member do you want Peanuts or Points?? Seriously. A full service Westin that decides let’s sell having a concierge lounge and charge more for it. But let’s not staff it or put any food in it. Then never tell you. Key card on elevators some work, most don’t. LAX shuttle let’s try 2 times an hour, but will tell you it is 4 times. Came from another Marriott had a couch - this hotel - a love seat, a single chair, a stand alone round table no chairs - no bathroom in your bedroom. But cutting staff and having a front desk not having any idea of what was going on. Has not been a single guest who also has not found that this hotel is maddening about how poor it is run, the shape it is in and the attitude towards the guests who have to put up with this. For the headache - there are other Marriott and other brands closer to LAX that act the right way and at least deliver. No rip offs.

Okay hotel
A Marriott owned property, but some of their services were not in line with what one expects from a full service hotel. It was surprising to see that in the Bathroom, they had plastic cups instead of glass. And Breakfast was only served in the Executive Lounge, not the Restaurant. Rather mediocre breakfast.

Hotel is being Renovated
Hey… did you know the hotel is being renovated? Wait, let me repeat that since you probably did not hear me over the noise of renovations that start about 7:30 a.m.. The only way I knew about the renovations was a sign stating they were upgrading the premises. During check-in, no one mentioned it…. So now, I’m telling you; you can either decide on another property, while we give this Westin time for their ‘facelift’, or, when you check in, you can ask where the work is being done to avoid the noise of scraping and banging… Unless, you are a morning bird and you are going to be up anyway…. I wonder if I can call downstairs to ask them to move to another room instead of being directly over me…..
