  Seasonal hotel. Year around resort fees.

  Seasonal hotel. Came from Midwest for warm weather resort fun. Front desk service was great and rooms were nice. Hot tub, one pool, lake access all closed. Check with hotel on which resort items are open as they still charge daily resort fee. If anything is complimentary, expect some reminder about gratuity not being included. We tipped but needed to have cash. Waiter pouring our coffee for breakfast buffet, which is included in the rate we paid, gave us a receipt suggesting $17 tip. There is also a tip jar at the omelet station. And another tip reminder for the complimentary welcome drink you get, that is pre- made, and no substitutes allowed. We were here in March. Weather was 72 one day. 78 the other day. The pool water was so cold. Our kid was shivering after sometime. We then relaxed in the sun and watch every single person gasp as they dipped their foot in the water. Must feel great on 100 degree days.

  Dirty

  Dirty. Awful service. Read the other reviews. Avoid the staff.....they are not trained well, nor are they up to the Marriott standards that we expect. Very disappointing stay. I suggest Marriott corporate come take a look at this lost property.

  Garbage

  I experienced the angriest, most aggressively atrocious behavior from a night auditor in my life. I stay at many hotels and work in this industry. The level of unprofessionalism I just experienced should be grounds for immediate termination. In no world is that acceptable service at a ropeway inn, let alone a "resort". I spent so much time and effort researching the perfect hotel to help me relax from my difficult hotel job. I drove 7 hours, anxiously anticipating waking up overlooking a lake with breakfast in bed. I hesitated for a while because of the ratings but decided to bank on Marriott. I was wrong. Follow the ratings. The night auditor Bridget has a nasty penchant for being unkind. She is not suited to work at the front desk. Ever. Go elsewhere. This hotel is garbage.

  Luxury hotel experience in a quiet part of town

  Originally had booked a reservation through a third party app for some reason it didn’t go through. The front desk staff were excellent, in working with the third party app to resolve and to find me a room. The hotel itself has beautiful architecture and interior design. I was only able to stay an evening. But I’m looking forward to returning.

  Zen Time @Westin Lake LV

  I've been wanting to stay here for a while, but the reviews were often brutal. We stayed for a weekend in early February and it was so beautiful and quiet. Yes, the place could be a bit more polished and renovated here and there, but we loved it. It felt more like a resort than any property on the Strip! Staff was nice, room was spacious and clean. We had supper and breakfast at Rick's Café, delicious and our evening waitress was great. The scenery and peacefulness around the property is relaxing, just sitting outside on the terrace, reading, having a beverage and chillin' is a complete ''de-stresser''. Firepits at night is a nice touch! Don't expect the color & noise of the Strip here, don't come here for that. This weekend stay away from the Strip before staying on the Strip is a complete package for a dual style LV experience. Would love to return and probably will next year! Recommended! :) Enjoy!
