Customer Service and Spa were excellent, hotel itself is average
This hotel was chosen by my employer. I was expecting it to be a luxury hotel but the decor and rooms were just average, nothing fancy. No slippers in the guest rooms, low water pressure in the shower, no shelves in the shower to put your toiletries on. The room decor was somewhat dated compared to that of a modern hotel. The customer service was excellent. At one point while dining in Ferdinand's, Donnique, our waitress noticed my guest was cold and draped a heated towel over her shoulders without my guest asking, that is how attentive I found customer service to be while there. Another waiter, Russell, remembered us from the previous day at the restaurant and greeted us personally. Melissa served us drinks while on the beach and even brought them down to us at the shore at one point. Customer service was exceptional. If you don't visit the Hibiscus Spa while here, you are doing yourself a disservice. I got a massage and facial and Marie and Andrea were excellent. They were professional, made me feel pampered and relaxed and even offered suggestions (not selling me products) telling me the particular products I was using was drying to my skin. I enjoyed the sushi at Woto, and also had a great waiter there too, I can't remember his name. Ferdinands was great for breakfast, I opted to order from the menu instead of partaking in the buffet. I wouldn't recommend the turkey sausage though. It tasted and looked more like a veggie turkey sausage than actual meat. Would I visit this establishment again, yes, but if I had the option to choose, I'd probably try for one of the more luxury modern hotels on the seven miles.

Wonderful hotel with a beautiful beach!
The hotel was great. Room was clean and bright. Pool was large with swim up bar. Beach was the best. Carol, the concierge was extremely helpful and kind. Reynold and Noah were the best servers in Ferdinand’s restaurant! Will definitely be back!

Terrific property on 7 mile beach
I would say this Westin and the Ritz have to be the 2 nicest on the stretch. Our room was extremely well kept and comfortable with good air and also a ceiling fan which we liked. The pool area is nicely spread out with a hot tub on either end. A nice stand where you can get your towels or have them set up the spot, especially on the beach. We liked yonbting the smaller chairs down to the waters end and have the ocean roll over you. There are the tiniest of waves here. You are basically wading in the ocean, which is wonderful. Today, my last day, I actually saw a sting ray. It must to my surprise it was great especially after doing a 3 hour tour for that. The water is so warm that we barely left it most of the day. We preferred the beach to the pool it's just ALOT nicer. The staff all around are always friendly and offering their help if needed the food is excellent we tried so many different things over the week. I have to say the chicken salad curry wrap is a winner, as is the truffle pizza, just delicious. The 7 mile rum punch really wallops one, and Happy Hour is 5-7pm which is half-price. cocktail specials about 8 choices for 8 dollars, and Beers are 2-4-1 during this time. It may only be domestic can and tap, but I'm not 100% sure. One criticism would be the hotel needs to get the tables cleaned up for the next day, the small beach tables. There are ketchup stains and drink stains from the prior day all over them, and it was every day. For the money you pay no excuse for this. Specialty nights Friday, the hotel had a BBQ that looks great, but we made our plans to go out, and on Sunday, they set up a fire pit, and kids and adults alike can fire up some marshmallows and make smores which was a very nice touch. Tonight, Monday is Paella night, and I can't wait to try it. We are staying on premises for dinner for this one. Anyway, we will return GC was a terrific getaway and do your research some nice deals abound.

Nonsense
This is a place where you buy a $200 bikini in their store, and they then won’t let you swim in their pool because you aren’t staying there (we had a table of 8 buying drinks). And before anyone from the venue writes back with a message saying they’ll contact us, we already tried to resolve this on site and had no one seeing sense. Pathetic. A disgrace. Don’t forget residents Westin. The island was closed for 2 years and who continued to support you in that time?
