Stay anywhere else!!
The most unprofessional security I have ever encountered. There is not a single employee in the pool area. Out of nowhere the security guard walked directly to my family and questioned our stay at the hotel. He did not question anyone else at the pool. The valet team was the only good thing about this hotel. Front Desk failed to give us wristbands for the pool. The bartender at the pool bar gave us a glass bottle and then we got in trouble for having glass by the pool. The front desk supervisor or manager then accused us of being in the wrong when clearly the hotel staff is not trained. Terrible stay and we will not be back.

Birthday weekend near the beach
Weekend trip, easy check in process with friendly accomadating staff. Beautifaul property with gorgeous views. We were able to enjoy the canal from our balcony while having our morning coffee. There were a couple restaurants on site. Gather had excellent food and service and live music, which was exactly what we needed after a travel day. Choose free breakfast as our reward, which is served at Marker 92. The buffet food was good, but unfortunately they were understaffed. We were done eating before we were even acknowleged by the wait staff and therefore never were served any beverages- we had to go and find someone to make sure we were good to just leave. The hot tub was out of service, which is completely understandable for the state of the area, but a notice when booking would have been nice. The pool was open and very nice. There is also a pleasant walk way along the waterway and we were able to view a few dolpins there searching for breakfast. Would definitley stay again

Manager saved the day
This was our 3rd time staying at this property. The resort itself is lovely, well maintained, and comfortable. We are platinum members and stay in many Bonvoy properties, this is a good choice for anyone visiting Cape Coral. This time we did have some issues with our stay however, We had booked a 1 bedroom suite and were pleased to be told at check in that we had been upgraded to a "nicer one". Imagine our surprise when we entered the room and it reeked of cigarette smoke. Not only that, but it was a "handicap room" which had not requested nor wanted. We went down to the front desk and asked for a room change and we were told that the only room they could move us to was the exact same room, just on a lower floor. After about 15 minutes of discussing the issue, we asked to speak to the manager. The manager on duty that day was Jeffery, and he was wonderful. He listened to our concerns and he was quickly able to move is into a lovely suite that was much nicer then the one we booked and much nicer than what we had been assigned. Issues arise, but how they are dealt with is the real test of a property. Jefferey checked in with us a number of times during our stay to make sure that we were happy, that was a nice touch and made us feel appreciated and valued. Thanks to Jeffery, we had a very enjoyable week at the resort. The only other issue we had was with valet parking. They seemed to be understaffed and there were a number of times that we had to wait up to 15 minutes for anyone to show up so that we could drop off our car, or pick it up. Not a huge issue, but still noteworthy. We ate breakfast every day in the restaurant. The service was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the food was tasty. We especially liked that a carafe of coffee was left on the table so that we never ran out of hot coffee. The suite was comfortable and well maintained. Daily housekeeping kept everything fresh and clean. All in all, we would definitely stay at this property again if we visit Cape Coral.

Absolutely a gem. Would highly recommend.
We wanted to extend our Marco Island vacation by a few more days in another area. We landed at the Westin Cape Coral. We were not sure because it was not on a beach, but more on a marina. Boy, am I glad we stayed there. Even though the hurricane has taken a little bit of a toll, you would never know. The marina is absolutely gorgeous. The grounds are beautiful. There’s so Many things to do. What we loved most is that you get so many amenities included with your resort fee. We took an adorable dolphin cruise, and it was included in the resort fee. We went out about 1.5 hours with some knowledgeable gentleman leading the way. we did get to see dolphins also. They offer this service two times every single day, even on Easter Sunday. Another thing I enjoyed was the complimentary yoga every morning at 8 AM. Also included for guests. As a platinum member, my husband and I were given free breakfast at the excellent restaurant each morning. There is a very nice pool, and access to a second pool area, which we never did go to. There are also two gyms. The rooms are absolutely huge. Ours was a one bedroom apartment style. Plenty of room for you to stretch your legs, work from there, cook in the vast kitchen. I mean I could go on and on, this place is outstanding!

Dont miss the dolphin tour.
Dont miss the dolphin tour. Such a pleasant surprise and makes the whole trip worth it. About 90 min trip out to St James / Sanibel / dolphin breeding ground area. Saw a bunch of dolphins, they were super friendly. This is a free trip for guests, there is a 930 am and 1130am sailing. Definitely make sure to make a booking in advance. The rest of the resort was fine too, some portions were a bit run down but overall seems like it was reasonably recently renovated. The rec center has a separate pool which is a lot quieter than the main pool, but there's no towel service? Kind of random. Small nit though. Overall was a good stay.
