Beautiful Resort, Tranquil Stay
Beautiful hotel with a beautiful view of the desert mountains. Room is nicely done with a super comfortable bed (slept incredibly well) and quiet. AC worked thankfully (kept at 67° as over 100° outside). Loved the shower with bonus TV in the bathroom. Tub is huge! Room included a mini-fridge and small patio. Pool area was beautiful. Water temp was refreshing considering the heat. Food & beverage service poolside was great. Food and beverages at the hotel restaurant (State) were delicious but super expensive. One cocktail was $36. Some at the conference left the property to dine elsewhere for this reason. Hallways and some furniture was fairly worn and needs updating. Restrooms in the public areas were done nicely with space and actual doors on each toilet room. Staff was excellent. Overall it is a very tranquil resort and definitely recommend it. I’d stay again.

Great stay
We have had a fantastic stay at this hotel. All staff have been welcoming and very efficient from the pool staff to those who work in the club level lounge. The patio staff deserve a special mention from us as they have served us promptly even when bar very busy. Rooms could be perceived as a little dated but this isn’t a slick city hotel so we enjoyed the authentic nature.

Ritz Carlton Rancho Mirage Disappoints
The rooms were very shabby and in poor shape, there were wall marks and the carpet was old. Hotel needs a refresh. The housekeeping was horrendous- every single day they came hours late. Even after we complained and they actually comped us drinks they were late again. To top it all off I wrote on the customer comment card about the issues and not a single manager at the hotel bothered to reply. They do not care about their customers and the price for the room is not worth it. You’ll be disappointed with the room, service and management.

What a rip off!!!!!!!!!
Restaurant for breakfast at 7 am and they a number of caffe stations set up around the first floor. This service cost $5 a cup. Muffins were $3. Then in their main dining room there childrens menu had no childrens's dishes on it. Quail $40 plus. lobster rissotto $50 plus. No hot dogs etc. Rooms were very small with bathrooms even smaller. It felt like a Holiday Inn that was slapped with Ritz Carlton. What a fraud!!!!
