Mar 25, 2026Unprofessional Response to a Hygiene Concern
During our stay at Exploria Resort, my parents noticed the presence of cockroaches in the apartment. While this was concerning, what was more disappointing was how the situation was handled at checkout. When they respectfully mentioned it to the front desk, the response was dismissive and unprofessional. The staff member replied: “You live in Florida, you know this is normal,” and shifted responsibility to the guests for not reporting it earlier. Regardless of environmental factors, guests should never be dismissed or made to feel responsible for operational or hygiene-related issues. The concern here is not only the situation itself, but the lack of accountability and basic customer service. Professional hospitality requires acknowledging concerns, offering solutions, and treating guests with respect. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. I hope management reviews both the handling of such situations and front desk training.

A quite and relaxing getaway for March Break
Everything about this resort met our expectations two years ago so we decided to re-book again this year. The room was clean and met our needs. The pool and resort is well appointed with things to do for adults and kids. The fact that Publix is just around the corner is a bonus for quick grocery supplies. Will more than likely book again in the future.

First time staying here and we loved it ! Sooo many amenities are included here . 7 pools to enjoy . Loved the grills to use . Property grounds well maintained . We will be back

This is such a lovely, well-kept property, we've stayed 5X so far. 24 hour check-in, nice rooms, gas grills, mini-golf, shuffleboard, club house amenities including pool table, numerous pools, close to everything.
