Sad to see the quality of this hotel go down so fast as I also stayed here few years ago and it was okay. Here are some issues I had during my stay in a very dirty room: 1. Dust covered both nightstands and chairs. 2. Pillows had black marks on them. 3. My slippers stuck when I walked across the bathroom floor. 4. One nightstand was so unbalanced it wobbled Needless to say this was mentioned to the front staff.

Finishing up a weekend stay here. Nice place. Tons of stuff to do here. About a 15 minute car ride from strip. They have a free shuttle to/from airport. Not on the strip but if u don’t care about that it’s a cool place. Tons of value as well. They give u a coupon book at check in with several freebies (drinks, discounts, etc) in it. The sportsbook is old school awesome. Great vibe for the nfl games. Dining has several options ranging from high end to budget friendly. Would definitely recommend. Very crowded in weekend and I can see why. Nice visit.

Great place to stay
Spent a couple of days there with friends. Very busy place but well kept. The food was great. The coffee shop seemed to be always busy, but. the food was great and plentiful. I could never finish what I was given. My only complaint about South Point was the cigarette smoke that permeated the whole place. Even in non-smoking areas, it was bothering me. I would definitely go back there again.

This is the place to stay!
Stayed here several days over the Fourth of July. We love the big pool area, It’s always clean & well maintained. We love the buffet here, it has a wide variety of food choices, however it’s getting pretty pricy. There ice cream shop is located inside the hotel next to Starbucks & has great ice cream & the prices arent to expensive. They have a nice Bingo Hall, Bowling alley & movie theater. The casino has a wide selection of slot machines & table games, but no matter when you’re there, the casino is normally pretty busy. The casino is clean but can be smokey at times. Our hotel room was clean & quiet. Parking is free & the resort fee is reasonable. We stay at this hotel every time we are in Vegas & will continue to do so in our future stays. Highly recommend.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the way my sister was treated when she recently called to inquire about booking your hall for an event next year. She initially spoke with someone named Sam, who was pleasant, professional, and took the time to confirm the details of our event. She was then placed on hold so availability for our preferred dates could be checked. When the call resumed, another staff member named May took over. Without so much as acknowledging that my sister had been waiting on hold or thanking her for her patience, she immediately began speaking in a dismissive and aggressive tone. She repeatedly stated that we could not book the hall until May of 2027, DID NOT EVEN GAVE MY SISTER TRIED TO RESPOND, abruptly said, "Okay, okay," and hung up the phone. My sister was left stunned and speechless. She wasn't even given the opportunity to explain our situation or ask any follow-up questions. At the very least, a simple acknowledgment of the inquiry and a courteous explanation of the booking policy would have been expected. Our event is expected to host approximately 300 attendees. While that may not be your largest function, it is significant to us. Many of our guests will be traveling from different countries, which requires extensive advance planning. That is precisely why we were trying to inquire about booking early. Perhaps someone should explain that customer service--especially in the hospitality industry--isn't just about stating policies. It's about treating people with respect, listening before responding, and ending a conversation professionally rather than abruptly hanging up on a potential customer. We are extremely disappointed by this experience and sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously so that future inquiries are handled with the courtesy and professionalism that customers should be able to expect.
