We love Arlene!
My wife and I frequent this hotel regularly. I always like to start with the positives. Arlene in housekeeping is an angel from heaven! She is a kind and caring person who had a smile on her face the entire week we were there. I can’t say enough about the quality of her work and the care she took with our room. We felt like she was our personal staff because she made us feel so cared for. I would like to give her five stars! She is the reason I am writing this. We are not certain what happened to the front desk staff, but they were not a happy bunch. We arrived after midnight because our flight was delayed. When we arrived, the girl working the front desk couldn’t have acted more bothered, which was the last thing we needed after such a long day at the airport and in a plane. Without getting into too much detail, we were having trouble with our room and every time we interacted with somebody from the front desk, it was a frustrating experience. This is so different than every other time we’ve been here. I think this property needs to take a hard look at this group’s moral and weed out the bad bananas. My number one complaint and frustration with this property is always the lack of follow through with guests who abandon their pool chairs for more than an hour (an expectation that you established.) I was there at 9 AM almost every day and 75% of the chairs were already taken, and there were never people sitting in them until approximately 11 AM. Screw these people and kick them out of the chair so others can enjoy it while they sleep in! Come on…it’s about time you enforce your own policy. Also, a few more pool umbrellas would be nice. All in all, we had a great vacation because we are blessed to be able to stay at this property. It is a real gem and we can tell that all of the hard working people in the background like Arlene…these people are the real heroes of your property! Just work on the front desk attitude and start enforcing your one hour rule the minute you open the pool! :) Mahalo

Best Spot on Waikiki Beach
The location of the Sheraton Waikiki Beach is perfect . It's walkable to so many shops and restaurants, you couldn't ask for more covenience. The resort is impeccably clean everywhere and the entire staff, front desk, concierge, restaurant, pool servers are all friendly and helpful. Whoever trains this staff does a terrific job! We splurged on an ocean view room with balcony. Wonderful sunset views from our room. We also had a nice view of the (huge) infinity pool. The pool staff was in the process of limiting towels to one per person in the morning so no one could save multiple chairs. Great solution for those of us who actually wanted to occupy the chairs. You could then get additional towels as needed. One thing that was really nice was the music from the adjacent restaurant which provided a more festive pool experience. Pool service started at 11:00 and there were many attentive servers. There was also a family (kids) pool on the opposite side of the resort with hot tubs and multiple depth levels. The food at the Sheraton restaurants was just okay with the exception of a terrific burger from the pool bar. Breakfast was particularly pricey. Not a problem though, because there were countless restaurants across from the lobby entrance and great shopping too. Overnight parking was expensive, however, luckily we found Akamai Car rentals who let you park in their lot overnight for free. About a five minute walk from the Sheraton. The Sheraton has a small beach but guests could use the beach adjacent beach at the Royal Hawaiian. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this resort.

Spring Break Vacation with Three Generations
We had a fantastic seven-night stay and highly recommend this hotel on March 28 to April 4, 2025. Location: Beautiful, clean, safe beachfront hotel with a refreshing ocean breeze. Steps from pool, shopping and good eats! Check-In & Room: Kaylia provided friendly, efficient check-in and fulfilled my request for sunset views. Our two rooms on the 28th floor were perfect—thank you, Kaylia! Housekeeping: Ying was cheerful and attentive, ensuring our rooms were spotless and well-stocked. Overall: Excellent experience with plenty to do and see for all ages. Tip: Reserve complimentary activities in advance by checking your email. As a Bon Voy member, I look forward to returning!

Definitely not worth the overpriced room rate for a subpar hotel
The location is great. I’m sure it’s fantastic for families. As an elite member, I got a crappy room and when you open the door to the balcony, all you could hear was air-conditioning units whirring at 100 miles an hour. It was the most unsettling noise ever. Not only do they not recognize me as an elite member or even give me a modicum of an upgrade away from the rooftop AC units, she was downright rude. On the plus side the fish is incredibly fresh at the restaurants. But my sink was so clogged up with mold that I was disgusted.

Spring Break
My family, including teenagers, had a very good trip staying at the Sheraton Waikiki Beach Resort. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and for a large hotel the elevators were surprisingly quick. The Infinity pool was a highlight. The beach was packed, as expected. Overall, a solid choice for a family beach getaway.
