Nice hotel with shockingly poor WiFi
We had a 20th floor ocean view, 2 queen beds. Room was fine. Pretty small for a family of 4 (kids aged 5 and 3), but no big deal. The view was awesome. The pool setup was really good. Nice pools for the kids, and a slide, which my 5 year old thoroughly enjoyed. I think it’s likely amongst the best family pools in the Waikīkī strip. Restaurants were fine. Breakfast was nicely situated. Didn’t love that they changed the rules on young kids eating free. It used to be that 5 and under had free breakfast, but now they pay and it’s not particularly cheap. For example, one pancake (about 6 inch diameter) from the kids menu was $20. Location was fantastic with perfect beach access. Service generally good. Everyone seems happy to be there, which made for pleasant interactions. One big annoyance: Phone signal isn’t very good at the hotel, and the WiFi has to be the worst WiFi I have ever experienced at any hotel. I don’t need to be “on my phone” as such, but it’s very irritating when trying to organize family outings, make reservations, etc. The WiFi is so, so bad. Overall, this is a nice hotel on the Waikīkī strip, and we’d be happy to stay again.

A disappointing start to our honeymoon
We booked this hotel for our honeymoon, hoping for a special and memorable stay. Unfortunately our experience got off to a bad start. Upon checking in, I noticed a dried pee stain on the toilet seat, which was incredibly off-putting. To make matters worse, when I checked the bed, most of the pillows were dirty. I immediately called the front desk, and while they promptly sent housekeepers to clean up the mess, it doesn't change the fact that this kind of situation should never happen - especially at a hotel where guests expect cleanliness and comfort...

Back Once Again to this Great Resort!!!
We are back once again to this Great Resort!!! We love staying here and it always feels like coming back home when we pull up to the bell station out front. Cathy Troy, Executive Assistant, is wonderful to work with and we love staying in the Malia Suites, as the views on Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head are incredible. It is always a pleasure to see Bev, the Hostess at the Kai Market, as we love to have breakfast there. You need to experience this resort, if you have not already done so!

4 amazing stars because of superb staff but horrifying maintenance issues
I loved this place but it was horrifying to see a cockroach crawl out of the drain when my wife was bathing! It somehow crawled out of the drain even though it was closed. So try not to use the tub as much as possible, especially if you are in Suite 465. But other than that at the “Haleumoa Playground”, on the waterslide there was this amazing lifeguard named “AC” and he was so kind he was saying stuff like “ oh congratulations on your wife’s baby” and “wow your kids are really smart that’s a very hard school to get into.” And so I completely forgot he was a lifeguard at the slide and it was like 15 minutes and we’re just talking about our enjoyment of American football. Maybe he treated us that way because we were one of the first to ride the slide and we rode it like 27 times, but who cares I love this place! So definitely come to Sheraton if you’re visiting Waikīkī or just O’ahu in general, it’s definitely the place to go. (obviously if you can afford it, of course because it is very expensive)

SheratonWaikiki Aloha Spirit!
The Ocean View Rooms were spectacular. Miss Arlend attended to our room service and was so lovely. We give her the highest rating and we’re very impressed by her, if only all Sheraton Staff followed her example and Aloha Spirit! The Sheraton Waikiki is perfectly located on the shore line and has the Best view overall in my opinion.🏝
