Rocky hotel stay in Rocky Hill CT.
We had an awful stay at this hotel last night. Here’s why. We arrived at 3:30 to check in. As we did they said I had reserved two rooms. I did not. A call to the Bonvoy elite desk took care of that. At check in we were told to enjoy our completely renovated room. Entered room 324 and put my backpack on the kitchen table almost fell over. Completely wobbly legs and unusable. We chose this hotel based on its proximity to the cemetery we had to go to today for a family funeral. As a lifetime Titanium Elite, they recognized us by putting us in a room facing a very busy intersection with18 wheelers going by ever minute or two all night. Hardly any sleep was possible. The room had no soundproofing and we could also hear and feel every step taken by the occupant in the room above us. Then came this morning’s breakfast. The buffet had one English muffin and some prepackaged sweet rolls. The hot breakfast had two chafing trays.one had about 4 spoonfuls of dried out scrambled eggs and a few slices of bacon. The second had three unidentifiable packaged egg preparations f some sort. The fruit choices were a few red delicious apples. Thankfully there was a repast after the funeral. I’ve spent over1,000 nights in Marriot properties and this was the worst one ever. If you want sleep and a basic breakfast please look elsewhere.

Needs updating and smells like smoke throughout
Staff was friendly, coffee OK. Room had broken thermostat, non working remote in one bedroom, and horrible smell every time heater turned on- some sort of nasty air freshener to cover up the fact that they do not enforce no smoking rule. Entire hallway smelled of smoke as well. Tub in bathroom didn’t drain so be end of shower I was standing in 3” of water. Tired property.

Very Unsatisfactory Stay!
My family and I recently stayed here, as a block of rooms was reserved for a family event. Our rooms and the hallways reeked of food & the rooms were dated and very rundown. A pull-out sofa in one of our rooms was so disgusting and was sagging in the middle, that we didn't even want to touch it! Our refrigerator started banging in the middle of the night and had to be unplugged. There was lots of noise overnight from the road. The last night of our stay, we were awakened to a person pounding on the door next to our room and screaming profanities at 3:00 am. It sounded as though they would break the door down and it continued off and on for about 30 minutes. We were concerned we would hear gunshots next. As if this all wasn't enough, the catalytic convertor was cut out and stolen off of one of our cars during the same night. The front desk told our party that the property has no surveillance cameras at all. I will never stay here again!

Great customer service, older hotel
We stayed here for one month with our 2 dogs. We had a 2 bedroom suite which worked out really well as I could work remotely from 1 bedroom. Rooms were spacious enough, but definitely a little dated. Lots of other travelers with dogs, so if you are not dog friendly, this probably wouldn't be a good place for you. I gave this place a 4 star rating as the customer service was excellent. Every single staff person I spoke with was pleasant to deal with and really helpful if I needed anything. They helped make a longer term stay much more enjoyable!

Clean, Comfortable, Dog Friendly
We stayed here for two nights and it was clean, comfortable and very well appointed for our needs. All the beds on the property are queen sized. There is ample green space to walk/entertain a dog including a fire pit/barbecue area. There is a sports/basketball court on site, tiny fitness center and also a pool (the pool is closed right now due to Covid). The room has a full-size refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, stove top, dishes/glassware/utensils etc. and a dishwasher. The free breakfast includes the usual carbtastic fare and a microwave Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich for the hot option. Also instant oatmeal, yogurt, some fruit, mini water bottles and of course coffee/tea. All in all a very pleasant stay during a bereavement trip where we needed all of the comforts of home and to have a quiet room/experience. We would definitely stay here again.
