    Disgusting and disappointing

We went for my husband's 66th birthday and also Valentine's Day. Our room was really nice this time we had a pool view. One King room, one night $1,126.38. The dining is excellent at the 4 restaurants we have eaten at also. Council Oak, Cipresso, Bae, Sports Bar, and the Hard Rock cafe. We have seen 6 concerts in the past 3 years there. All are wonderful except the smoking that is allowed throughout just ruins the experience. My husband has acute asthma and I suffer with severe allergies. There should be a designated smoking area for smokers only. There are dogs, children, adults, and elderly that have to breathe in this toxic air. Why is this allowed? Why not have a designated smoking room for these people that chose to kill themselves with cigarettes and cigars. Only 11% of the population smoke so that leaves 89% that do not smoke. We pay high premium to be in a nice place for entertainment and dining . So why is this allowed? We also parked on the 3rd floor parking garage because of the early check out at 11:00 so we could spend the day at the casino today, we brought our luggage back to the car and came back in. The human urine smell was so strong, I actually gagged walking back to the elevator and I threw up in the trash can. Also there was a broken glass bottle that was left behind with clear glass scattered about. Why hadn't this gotten cleaned up? Why hasn't this garage which is filthy been pressure washed? Is there no one inspecting?

Great change of pace from usual Florida destinations.

This is a great casino/resort. Very easy to get to as it’s right off route 4 on the eastern side of Tampa. On a busy day take the first parking space you come to. Our room was ready at 2 pm and it’s a marvelous place. The 12th floor had a great view of the pool/route 4 and Tampa. We had lunch and dinner at the grill and Italian restaurant Both were excellent. There was a huge variety of machines and payouts were typical of any downtown Vegas casino and better than the strip. Thanks to all the wonderful employees especially the housekeepers!

Pit Boss said Ultimate Texas Holem Card Shufflers May Be Rigged

I was playing Ultimate Texas Holdem last night and I noticed that the dealers were dealing their cards first before the players. This is the only casino that I’ve been to where this is the case. Anyone can do a quick search and see this is not the proper sequence. Players are supposed to get their cards first and dealer gets their cards last. I told the pit boss that it’s not the proper way of dealing the cards with the reason being that the automatic shufflers can be programmed to give the best cards first and beat all subsequent cards dealt to the players. The pit boss confessed that the automatic shufflers likely are programmed, meaning the cards are not random. I was dumbfounded. If you’re going to computerize a table game that needs to be disclosed upfront. The expectation is when you sit down at a table game that there is a house edge, but not that the house is controlling the cards. That is cheating and dishonest.

    Luxury at its worst.

Staff was unfriendly upon check in. The 1,800 plus a night had a terrible view. Not worth the money at all. The only nice thing was the larger bathroom. We booked one adult and a small child , advertised that it slept 3 ( no pull out bed ) it was a very stained sofa. Had to call for sheets and blankets to set it up. Blankets had holes in them and were very thin. Room had to be kept at 75 just so our child Could stay warm. Place smelt like cigarettes.
