  Relaxing at the Tides

  Our visit to Secrets Tides was the most relaxing vacation I have ever had! The facilities were immaculate and very well cared for. The staff were all incredibly attentive and friendly. The food was top notch and plentiful. The rooms were beautiful, modern and very comfortable. If you are looking to relax and unwind and worry about nothing, this is your destination!

  5 Year Anniversary Getaway

  My partner and I had a wonderful time here! We upgraded to the Preferred Club, which was the right choice for us! When we got there, Miguel, our butler, greeted us and helped us with the check in process and we were able to have top shelf cocktails while we waited, since we had upgraded! We also got a free bottle of Dominican rum as well as a free bottle of champagne! The access to the Preferred restaurant for breakfast was great, but the buffet was also great! We spent a lot of time at the Preferred swim up pool bar and my partner wanted Aperol Spritz, but the bar had none there. My partner reached out to Miguel and he made sure that Aperol was brought to the bar! When Miguel found out it was our 5 year anniversary together, while we were out of the room, we came back to find that he had a "Happy Anniversary" banner placed on our door, rose petals lined along the floor leading to rose petals that read "5th" on the floor, and rose petals reading, "I ❤️ U" on our bed, which was a really sweet and romantic gesture! Miguel also reserved our spot for the Hibachi restaurant as soon as we arrived, which was an amazing experience! Miguel guided us on where to go to book one day at the Sacred River adventure park with transportation from and to the resort, which helped eliminate any stress from having to plan it ourselves! Miguel also reserved us for the Secret Garden Experience Dinner when I asked and it was so amazing! Cauliflower soup with shrimp was the appetizer. Steak and lobster were the entrees. When we told the waiter I don't eat seafood, he served me the cauliflower soup without the shrimp, which tasted amazing! He also asked if I wanted a double portion of steak or if I wanted chicken in place of the lobster. I opted for the chicken since it already had a steak and to do something different. The food was absolutely delicious! The service from our waiter was impeccable! We thoroughly enjoyed all the restaurants, except Portofino, the Italian restaurant. The waiter at Portofino seemed to rush my partner into ordering and seemed like he did not want us to order more than one appetizer and one entree. That waiter did make sure my cocktail was refilled before it was empty, which was good. My partner told a couple restaurant staff at the Preferred restaurant, which we had eaten at before and the service was great, about that and they made sure we had amazing service again and even had the manager check in with us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves! My partner told Miguel about that as well and, at checkout, Miguel came with the manager of the resort, who apologized for the incident at Portofino and stated that he was having a meeting to address all the wait staff as that was not a good representation of the resort. They also carried our luggage to and from the room at check in and check out. My partner and I would definitely stay here as a Preferred member again!

  Pleasant anniversary stay.

  We had a great 15 anniversary trip. The rooms where nice and clean, kept very well by the janitorial lady's. The Bluetooth music was a nice touch. The fridge was stocked well with drinks. We did preferred club and enjoyed the extra lounges, restaurants, and our Butler Jaime was attentive and helped us with reservations. They kept the beach clean from seaweed which was so nice. You could really tell how well they did when you walk down the beach. The only con is the people walking the beach pushing products when you are trying to relax, but I guess that's a given. We would definitely come back again.

  A great time

  Beautiful resort. Staff very attentive! Our Bhtler, Carela was excellent. Very attentive, solved the minor issues we had quickly. We had tons of laughs with him! Thank you for your services! Resort very clean, pools also very clean!
