Oct 17, 2026Very relaxing break
We stayed for 7 nights and had a really relaxing break, our butler Diego was very friendly and helpful. Looking to book for 2027 and will stay for longer next time.

Aron Is the BEST Butler
Aron was our butler and helped us in every way possible. We had a couple of problems with our room Aron quickly erased those issues. He went above and beyond when he sent wine and flowers. Every day he allowed us to knowy when he was coming and he checked on us to make sure we were OK. If we needed anything, he was there to fulfill any request. His expertise in the facility in his job was exceptional. When we return to Secrets on our next visit, we would enjoy having him if he remains in that role, though his expertise makes us confident he will advance.

Oct 17, 2026Room a let down
We stayed here for 9 nights. Our room was 4th floor, room 3464. Our room was supposed to be a preferred club junior. The room was definitely a let down, standard at best. Phone didn’t work, work surface was fixed and could see all the wires from TV, bathroom was nice though. I think I accepted a more decent room, especially when we paid a lot of money to go there. The view from the room, see photo attached, was not really a room with a view. Also the block opposite our balcony is being renovated so noise all day long. Not a problem when you are out, but could be a problem in late afternoon when you go back to your room. The staff were all very nice and resort is lovely and clean. The food was good, although when we went to the steakhouse, the food just had steak and chips on the plate, no salad/garnish. Same with Mexican restaurant, we ordered fajitas and thought we could get a side of rice or chips to go with it, but no just the fajitas. It was still nice but the food needed something else with it. We paid for preferred but I was confused by what I was getting different from non preferred. Anybody can order premium drinks at the bar and not get asked their room number. The pool the same thing, anybody can sit in preferred area, and no one asks if you are preferred. The only thing you need preferred for is eating lunch at Oceana, but you can always eat at the normal buffet. Nice stay, but room a let down.

Beautiful and fun resort for friends couples weekend
Absolutely beautiful resort with great amenities. Relaxing tropical spa with talented masseuse. Food and drinks were plentiful and better than many all-inclusive resorts but not top quality. Preferred Club is a must. Private pool room (as long as not facing right into public pool areas or walkways) is a must. Service was amazing. Very cool that we could go between sister properties. Fitness center next door at Dreams was better. Food at Secrets was much better than Dreams.

Oct 16, 2026Celiac unsafe
It was not safe for someone with celiac disease. They made lots of promises, but I ate MRE meals in my room most of the time.
