Returned yesterday from a 5 day stay at Secrets. Our group was 5 couples celebrating 50th birthdays. Overall a fantastic experience and definitely would consider staying here again. Service was mostly good to great. Juan, Leo and Lizette took great care of us with poolside service. Delmar from the entertainment team is THE BEST! Any chance to do an activity with Delmar, take it. Axel from the entertainment crew was also awesome. Restaurant staff was solid. We did a bike ride to the marina with Delmar which was fun and then a city tour with tequila and chocolate tastings that was great. We had a standard ocean view room. It was spacious, comfortable and clean. Some friends got swim up suites and generally thought it wasn’t worth the extra cost. Nobody upgraded to the premium club or whatever it’s called and we didn’t feel like we missed out on anything. Pool and hot tub were great. There was some shenanigans with people going out to reserve poolside chairs very early in the morning but we still found space for our group of 10 to be comfortable. There is access to the beach from the resort but they ask that you avoid going in the water. The food was good but not great. We thought the best food was the spread they put out for a Super Bowl party. Wings, tacos, ribs, brisket and a lot more. The buffet for breakfast and lunch was fine. I’d recommend the omelet station. The dinners were mostly just okay, no dishes or restaurants stood out as being excellent. We were not able to get reservations at the Teppanyaki restaurant. I’d leave 4.5 stars if that was an option with my only “complaint” being with the food being just okay.

This place is truly unbeatable . The help is fantastic and the experience is next to the best I’ve had yet Italian is for sure the Best of the restaurants Alberto and Vladimir truly made us feel welcome Be back here for sure , however I will skip the spa next time . First time was great , second time was blah

Come see Delmar
Highly recommend any event Delmar does. The rest of the staff are amazing.. but Delmar will make you laugh so hard. The resort is immaculately kept, and all the staff are super helpful.

Great time!
Great food, people, and views! Service was excellent! The weather was nice. Cabo in general felt safe everywhere. I’d go again!

Really great! Wonderful, class-act resort!
Awesome! We had an amazing time! The resort is gorgeous! It's the perfect marriage of Scottsdale, AZ and Palm Beach, FL with the Sea of Cortez and a beautiful golf course thrown in there. The food at the buffet was great with a good selection everyday. We also really enjoyed Portofino Italian Restaurant and El patio. The Coco Cafe was open 24 hours and they had the most amazing pastries, cookies, donuts, coffee and even ice cream! Would avoid the Japanese restaurant, Himitsu. They sat us in some sunken table which none of us could get in and out of. The service was pretty bad as it took well over 2 hours to finish a meal and in the process missed the fire show. The activities were wonderful with a LOT to choose from each day. They are listed on big TV screens around the resort each morning so you can plan your day. The main pool was fantastic with great servers (we LOVED Chucky so try and find his section!). They had fun things to do "IN" the pool if you choose like spinning, aerobics, volleyball, blackjack, etc. Or you can just float and drink your favorite cocktail. We liked the archery lessons and did that a few times. There are many more things to do but we were pacing ourselves! Overall, it was great! The weather was fantastic. We took in a few excursions too! Highly recommend Secrets Puerto Los Cabos!
