  Enjoyable Aniversary Experience!

  This Secrets resort provided a relaxing atmosphere, as expected. This was our second visit and we found the staff friendly and extremely eager to please. The refurbished room was well decorated and the ocean front swimout exceeded our needs. I miss that private and heated pool!

  Great getaway for Couples - and fabulous destination for wedding

  I don’t even know where to begin with Secrets Playa Mujeres because it wasn’t just a resort stay, it was a feeling I wish I could bottle up and take home with me. From the moment we arrived, everything just felt… easy. No chaos, no overwhelm, no wristbands or lines or that typical “all-inclusive” energy. Instead, it was calm, intentional, and beautifully designed in a way that actually lets you slow down and be present. As someone who’s constantly on the go, that alone felt like such a luxury. The property itself is stunning, but not in an over-the-top way. It’s spread out through a lush nature reserve, so even when it’s busy, it never feels crowded. You’re not fighting for a lounger or rushing to dinner. You just exist in the space, and it meets you exactly where you are. The food completely exceeded my expectations. Ki’Ki’ Che was a standout for me, such a unique, elevated dining experience that felt thoughtful and immersive without trying too hard. The seafood restaurant was also incredible, and I loved that there were so many gluten-free and vegetarian options that didn’t feel like an afterthought. Every meal felt intentional. Our room was one of my favourite parts. We had a private tub on the balcony, and I found myself out there every evening, just sitting, soaking, watching the sky change. It’s rare to travel somewhere and actually want to spend time in your room, but this was that kind of place. One of the biggest things that stood out to me, especially from a wedding perspective, is the connection to Dreams Playa Mujeres next door. It’s honestly genius. You get this elevated, adults-only experience at Secrets, but if you have guests with kids, they can stay at Dreams and still be right there for everything. The childcare options and flexibility make it such a thoughtful, stress-free solution for couples planning destination weddings. There’s also this quiet attention to detail throughout the entire resort. From the golf carts always being available, to the little doorbells you can ring if you need one, to the staff who are genuinely kind and welcoming without ever feeling forced. It all adds up in a way that makes you feel taken care of without even realizing it. I left feeling rested, connected, and honestly a little emotional about it. It’s not just a beautiful place, it’s a place that gives you your time back. If you’re considering it for a wedding, honeymoon, or even just a reset, I can’t recommend it enough. It’s one of those rare places that actually lives up to how it looks online, and then somehow still exceeds it. 💛

  One of the best experiences in Mexico!

  Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional, and I feel compelled to share both the highlights and the little “secrets” that made the experience truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the level of service stood out. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond, always greeting us with genuine warmth and a willingness to help. It’s rare to find a team so consistently attentive, and it made us feel valued throughout our entire stay. One of the hidden gems of this hotel is how seamless everything feels behind the scenes. Check-in was effortless, the rooms were spotless and thoughtfully prepared, and even during busy times, the staff managed everything with calm professionalism. It’s clear there’s a lot of care and coordination happening that guests don’t always see but definitely feel. A very special mention goes to Guillermo, the cart driver, who truly made a lasting impression on us. Not only was he punctual and reliable, but he also brought such kindness and positive energy to every interaction. He took the time to make us feel comfortable, shared helpful tips, and ensured every ride was smooth and enjoyable. It’s people like Guillermo who turn a great stay into a memorable one. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is welcoming and refined, with attention to detail in every corner. Whether it was the comfort of the room, the efficiency of the service, or the friendliness of the staff, everything came together perfectly. The servers and cooks of all restaurants went above and beyond to make our daughters birthday really special. Loved the cake and the martinis. If you’re considering staying here, do it—you’ll not only enjoy a beautiful hotel, but also experience a level of hospitality that truly stands out. And if you’re lucky enough to meet Guillermo, you’re in for an extra treat! We can’t wait to come back.

  Luxurious Vacation

  Friendly staff from the room to the facilities, to food service. We were very well taken care of. The beach was gorgeous, the pool was perfection, drinks was all great, plenty to do and experience. BEAUTIFUL waterfront room, every detail of the guest room was well thought out and designed. Lighting, ambiance, room service - bliss.

  Paradise at Secrets Playa Mujeres

  We just got back on Wednesday. The resort is beautiful! It is unbelievably clean, has amazing food and the best service we have ever encountered. The preferred club is so worth the extra money We had a Bali bed every single day which is an amazing cost saving in itself. Our pool concierge was Jaime Lagunas and he worked so hard to make everyone feel pampered! Always with a smile on his face! We have never had service at any other resort that came close to his. The preferred club is modern and brand new. Up stairs is the most beautiful restaurant which serves delicious breakfasts with incredible views. Such a great way to start your day! All the staff at the restaurants , rooms,pools, golf cart drivers, entertainment etc work so hard to make everything perfect !
