  Perfect Slice of Paradise

  Amazing setting on a secluded, peaceful, swimmable beach! Charming bungalows perched on the hillside, warm and friendly staff and delicious cuisine all added up for for an unforgettable stay.

  Pretty good overall

  My partner and I stayed for two weeks in early October at this resort. I'd say that our #1 favorite part of the on-resort experience was how nice the staff we interacted with where. Big shout-out to William in the preferred lounge, for serving us cocktails that where absolutely delicious when we asked him to surprise us, and for jazzing-up my normal gin and tonics into something memorable. He also introduced us to the local liquors and cocktails, and we ended up purchasing quite a few bottles on our way back home! I'd also like to shout out Anderson from the activities center. We kept bumping into him by pure happen-stance, but he always brightened our days. He was always funny, inviting, and very patient with us. We ended up doing the black-jack night since the table was empty, but when we sat down and realized it was him it quickly became a blast. I ended up learning how to play, and I beat my partner which was pretty funny overall. I'd recommend anyone planning on staying to take full advantage of the classes and activities on resort! I will say that the resort has a fair amount of wear-and-tear, and I'm unsure if I would recommend staying more than a week. Most of the people we spoke to stayed there for 5-9 days. Also, we found that there was not much drawer space to put away our clothes, which was a bit of a nuisance due to how long we where on the property for. Furthermore, I'd highly recommend and encourage the managers to consider opening the pool later into the night. As someone who needs to avoid too much direct sun exposure, I could only go to the pool right when it opened and by the time the sun started to set the pool would close. Maybe they can consider adding extended hours at the quiet pool to avoid too much partying? The food was very much hit or miss, some was really good, and others we where left disappointed by the quality. I'd rather pay for the full food cost and get higher quality! One other thing to note, is that there is a fair amount of up-selling for extra shows and experiences on resort. Since we stayed for two whole weeks we heard a callosal amount of it which was a little little little bit annoying. Having stayed at many higher-end resorts, there are a few tiny things they could change to raise their star rating beyond their current category. 1) Housekeeping should re-organize cosmetics on the bathroom counters & sweep the corners of the floor a little better 2) Repair the visible wear-and-tear, such as broken/missing light covers 3) Ensure ALL rooms have privacy curtains in the bathroom windows. Or add a slight opaque vynil on the bottom portion. The window was at chest height, and our neighbor could easily see in if they where on their balcony. 4) On a minor note, when facilities open, ensure they are checked by staff. We saw a few instances where there was dead crabs in the pool in the morning!

  Top Ten Beach and resort setting!

  The most beautiful beach and snorkeling area right off the beach! Beautiful setting in the hillside and a super friendly staff! Easy to drive to other tours from there in that location, but of the beaten path enough to not have a whole lot of extra public people at the beach. The resort is built into the hillside, so there's a lot of hill walking and steps, but they have shuttles to drive everyone around if needed. I definitely came home in better shape than when I arrived and it felt great!

  A Beautiful Resort Surrounded by Nature: Perfect for Relaxation

  The surroundings are absolutely beautiful. It doesn’t feel like a typical resort, as the individual bungalows are beautifully nestled into nature. When walking to dinner in the evening, you can spot plenty of wildlife along the way. We highly recommend exploring the resort on foot. Otherwise, you would genuinely miss out on so much. The beach is absolutely breathtaking – like something straight out of a picture book! The service throughout the resort was very friendly and welcoming. When it comes to the food, we would say it was average but perfectly fine. Nothing particularly outstanding, but certainly enjoyable. During our stay, the evening buffet was closed because the hotel was not fully occupied. However, this was absolutely no problem, as there were plenty of à la carte restaurants to choose from. For lunch, there were also sufficient options: the buffet was open, and you could also grab something freshly prepared at the grill. There was evening entertainment every night, although we didn’t personally take advantage of it. During the day, the resort also offered a variety of activities. One experience we would particularly like to highlight was the kayaking tour. A very special thank you to Dalay, who made this experience truly unforgettable. She took so much time for us, and it was such a wonderful experience! Overall, we would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for peace, quiet and a sense of seclusion. The beach is especially worth mentioning if you simply want to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We hardly spent any time at the main pool, as the music was consistently a little too loud for our taste. However, that is absolutely fine – it was clear that many guests were having a great time there. We simply preferred to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere in the quieter, more laid-back areas of the resort or down at the beach. There is definitely enough space for everyone to find their own perfect spot and enjoy their holiday exactly the way they like it. A wonderful place for anyone who appreciates nature, beautiful beaches and a relaxed atmosphere!

  Family adventure

  The resort was absolutely amazing. The staff was so attentive and accommodating. The excursions with Frank the Tank were great as well. The resort also has activities and the staff there is very helpful but Anderson was by far our favorite at the resort! He went out of his way to make sure our family was ok during all of the excursions and he was just an overall pleasure to be with.
