  Beautiful resort with amazing service!!

  We decided to try Maroma Beach because we couldn’t get a flight that worked for us at Secrets Cap Cana which was where we had booked initially. We were extremely impressed with everything at Maroma. When their renovations are done this resort will only be that much more amazing.

  Amazing honeymoon at Secrets Maroma Beach

  We had the most amazing honeymoon at Secrets Maroma! The staff here goes above and beyond to make your stay special. We were in the Preferred club honeymoon suite and it was breathtaking, the beach view from our balcony every morning was amazing. Preferred club gave us so many well worth it amenities, the Oceana restaurant for preferred breakfast and the Preferred beach club were amazing. We loved our concierge Brandon, and pool bar staff Dario, Pedro, & Valentin. The entertainment team was so fun in getting everyone involved shoutout Marcelo & Daniel! Truly a great experience from start to finish. Amazing food, staff, and grounds. Can not ask for more!

  First Time Vacation in Riveria Maya

  Wonderful resort. Beautiful beach. Unbelievable food and service. Will be back next year. Resort was doing some construction with adding a new pool which didn't not bother us once we got to the pool or beach. Very clean resort.

  An Unforgettable Honeymoon – Exceptional Staff, Amazing Entertainment and Memories to Last a Lifetime! ❤️

  If you're considering Secrets Maroma Beach for a special occasion, or simply looking for a fantastic holiday, we really cannot recommend it highly enough! We chose this beautiful resort for our honeymoon, and it certainly didn't disappoint. From the warm welcome on our first day to the exceptional service throughout our stay, everything felt that little bit more special. The resort itself is stunning, but what truly sets Secrets Maroma apart is its incredible staff. Their genuine friendliness, attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond made our honeymoon an experience we'll never forget. A very special mention to Roberto, who first looked after us at lunch on our very first day and continued to take wonderful care of us at breakfast and lunch throughout our stay. From that first meeting, Roberto made us feel incredibly welcome, and his warmth, friendliness and genuine enthusiasm never faded. Always smiling, attentive and happy to have a chat, he made every visit that little bit more special. We genuinely looked forward to seeing him each day. Roberto is an absolute credit to Secrets Maroma and one of the people who made our honeymoon so memorable. We also want to say a huge thank you to Talia, our concierge, who was absolutely fantastic throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she was always happy to help with anything we needed. Her kindness, professionalism and attention to detail made such a difference. One of the absolute highlights of our honeymoon was an unforgettable meal at Himitsu restaurant. The team really did pull out all the stops to make the evening something special. The food, presentation and service were exceptional, but what made the experience truly memorable was the personal attention we received. The head chef even came out personally to present our dishes, which was such a wonderful touch and made us feel incredibly special. It was clear how much care, pride and effort had gone into making the evening perfect. A huge thank you to the head chef and the entire Himitsu team for creating one of the standout memories of our honeymoon. It was so much more than just a meal – it was an experience we'll remember for years to come. The entertainment team deserve a massive mention too!They work incredibly hard from morning until night to make sure everyone has a fantastic time. There was certainly never a dull moment around the pool, with plenty going on and a brilliant atmosphere throughout the day. The evening entertainment and shows were equally impressive, but the Halloween show was absolutely out of this world! The effort, creativity and energy that went into the performance were incredible and made it one of the real highlights of our holiday. A huge well done to everyone involved! The food and beverage teams throughout the resort were outstanding, always friendly, attentive and ready to help. The same goes for the fantastic pool and beach concierge teams, who worked tirelessly to make sure everyone was comfortable and well looked after. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble. Another special mention must go to Franco,,who was the very first pool and beach concierge we met. From that initial meeting, Franco was incredibly welcoming, taking the time to offer us lots of helpful advice and making sure we knew everything we needed to enjoy our stay. What really impressed us was that he remembered us every single time we saw him, always greeting us with a smile and a friendly conversation. That personal touch makes such a difference and shows just how much the staff genuinely care about their guests. And of course, we can't forget the sunglasses cleaning cart – such a brilliant little extra! We stayed in the Preferred Club, which we would definitely recommend. For us, it was well worth the upgrade and added that extra touch to an already special holiday. There was some seaweed on the beach during our stay, but that's nature and completely outside the hotel's control. What impressed us was how hard the grounds and beach teams worked every day to clear it and keep the beach looking its best. Their efforts certainly didn't go unnoticed, and it didn't detract from our enjoyment of the resort. What really stands out about Secrets Maroma is the people. The hotel and surroundings are beautiful, the atmosphere is fantastic, the food is excellent and the entertainment is brilliant, but it's the staff who turn a lovely holiday into a truly memorable one. A massive thank you to everyone at Secrets Maroma, especially Roberto, Talia, Franco and the wonderful team at Himitsu, for helping make our honeymoon so special. You are all a real credit to the resort. We've come away with some wonderful memories, plenty of laughs and a genuine appreciation for how hard everyone works to make guests feel welcome. Would we return? Absolutely, without hesitation! Secrets Maroma has given us honeymoon memories that will stay with us forever❤️

  My all-time favorite resort

  This was our third visit to this resort as a couple, and every time we leave delighted, happy, and already wanting to come back. In 2026, we visited twice, three days in late March and four days in mid September, and I’ve just booked another stay for April 2027. A few lessons learned along the way: April, May, October, and November are some of the best months to visit. The weather and ocean temperature are generally warm enough, and while there may be some sargassum, the resort makes a tremendous effort to keep the beach clean. We are definitely beach people, so our days are usually pretty simple: breakfast, then straight to the beach to relax under a palapa or on a beach bed. Sometimes we even have lunch right there, or head over to the pool area, where they always seem to have some kind of pop-up food event going on, such as paella, a tuna cutting show, etc. Then it’s back to the room to get ready for dinner around 7 pm, enjoy the show at 9 pm, and maybe have one last drink in the lobby, where there’s usually live music, karaoke, or even Casino Night. The food is excellent and has never disappointed us. The drinks are great as well. My only recommendation is to be specific with your server or bartender about the brand of liquor or beer you prefer. As for the beach, during our stay we had only one day with a very small amount of sargassum. Every other day, the beach was completely clean and the sea was beautifully calm, almost like a swimming pool. The resort was undergoing renovations right in the central area during our visit, but honestly, it didn’t bother us at all. Our days were basically: breakfast, beach, room, restaurant, theater, lobby, room... repeat! Can’t wait to go back!
