Resort was great however, I did get over charged even though I confirmed they had my deposit and it was applied. Now its going to take two weeks to geta refund and staff is slow to respond on the status of it.

We had a great time at the Secrets Bahia Mita Surf and Spa. The surfing was great, food and service was incredible. Big shout out to Liz the hostess, Wendy in entertainment/games, DJ Christian at the pool swim up bar, and Fabian.

Secrets Bahia Mita Resort - April 2026
Beautiful renovated resort - huge huge huge - not for the mobility challenged - but absolutely a 5* fine dining experience - staff is very helpful! Get ready to walk!

Secrets Bahia Mita is an exceptional, all inclusive resort
Highly recommend the preferred status, as it comes with so many more benefits – to include a Butler. We had a butler named Rousse thatmade our stay enjoyable and unforgettable. We loved the secret side, cooling off in the pools and seeing whales in the distance in the ocean. As a first timer to an all-inclusive resort, it surprised me just how much was actually included. We never had to pull out our wallet unless we did a special dinner that was outside of the scope of all inclusive, except to leave tips. The housekeeping staff are fantastic and get their job done quickly and very well. They do not cut corners. We had an issue with a couple of the restaurants – but this resort is quick to improve based on feedback, showing that they care about the customer experience. We would love to go again, and if we do, we would definitely want Rousse as our Butler again!

The Resort was beautiful and the staff friendly but cpuls get loud at times. We were disappointed that we couldn't have food by the pool and you couldn't order just chips and guacamole. There were many amazing options but you had to sit down at a restaurant tp enjoy them unlike previous secrets locations. The plunge pool kicking on every morning arpunf 7:30am was an annoyance as well as the carts going up and down the hall by room 3232. Rooms were very pretty and very well taken care of by housekeeping! We were also supposed to have a butler which we never met and didn't get turned down service in the evening (part of the preferred club I believe). Preferred club breakfast was amazing and the 8th floor pool area stunning! Pools were very well kept and Miguel took great care of us all week. The pools do close at 7pm so make plans to watch the sunset on the beach. The waterslides at the top of thw resort are worth the rode up the hill in the golf cart and the bar is amazing for drinks and great food! The fireworks are a nice way to end the evening when there is a wedding/celebration. Make time to visit Himitsu as the staff is so friendly and attentive! Chef Osvaldo is not only an amazing chef with food that is the best at the resort but puts on a captivating show! Coco Cafe has great coffee and Dolce has amazing milkshakes! Jorge took great care of our luggage!!
