Not much around...good stay
This was close to my office hence my stay was pleasant. I didn't have any challenges staying here. I left my valuables in the safe which the staff retained and returned safely. The only thing I feel is the breakfast options can get better. The evenings are quite crowded here at the Bar.

A MAGNIFICENT MARRIOTT
I have stayed at this hotel countless times for well over a decade. Why? Because I love it! A truly grand Marriott completely overhauled from top to bottom a couple of years ago and and all aspects of it beautifully maintained. A great location at the junction of two highways and a short drive to SFO International Airport. Close but far enough away that you don’t hear airplanes constantly taking off. After checking this week, their Airport Shuttle Service still has not resumed since the very start of the Pandemic. The pluses of the hotel though outweigh the ride share costs. The lobby bar serves up great craft cocktails in an expansive, modern setting. I have always been pleased enjoying a meal in their restaurant. Friendly, professional service throughout the hotel on a multitude of visits. The hotel has many great people who make this hotel a great place to stay. A fully equipped fitness center along with a lovely pool setting allows one to reinvigorate , de stress and feel better. I always look forward to visiting and will be soon over the upcoming holidays.

Anywhere else is better
Avoid this place. It’s an absolute dump. Room is dirty, dingy, gray and depressing and has a bad smell. No coffee maker, no bathtub. Despite the overpriced rate, Wifi is $10 a day. Extremely unhelpful staff.

No Key - No service - No food Hotel
First day of vacation with my family checked in at 130 afternoon - hotel tried to give us two STANDARD rooms below what we booked LOFT SUITES. Of course on points they try to DOWNGRADE us. No keys available - problem with key machine - we sat in our rooms all day. Sunny nice day - we couldn’t leave our rooms. My daughters felt UNSAFE. No dinner service. Bar Food. Horrible management - nobody knows what’s going on. Our neighbors checked in and got their keys at 7pm. Front desk said they would “slip our keys under our door”. We never got the keys - the manager said still not available at 8am but front desk finally made me keys after 10 trips down to the lobby. 18 HOURS LATER. The worst hotel experience of my life and embarrassed my whole family, first day of a 10 day vacation - UNSAFE, MIS-MANAGED, NO COMMUNICATION, DIDN’T FOLLOW THROUGH In the past Marriott would simply say at check in - “we don’t have a room but we have located another Marriott that can accommodate you”. That would have been the professional way to handle this. DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL

Terrible experience - Beware
I made reservation at this hotel and canceled about 6 weeks before my stay (well within my window to cancel for free). They charged the full length of my stay to my credit card (about $1200) AFTER I canceled my reservation. It has been over a month since I've canceled my reservation and they still haven't refunded my money. It is next to impossible to talk to anyone at this hotel to get help. Not only was my money stolen, but also countless hours of my time trying to get ahold of anyone at this hotel. If you need evidence, simply call them and see if you can talk to anyone at their location (650) 653-6000 x0
