A Full-Service Hotel with the Personal Touch
Extremely professional, competent, efficient, and genuinely kind staff made my stay one of the best ever at a hotel. The personal touch made me feel really welcomed and valued. Jeffrey Colon, Room Operations Manager, is amazing. Kelly at the Front Desk was incredibly helpful and patient as was Alexandria Conrardy. Front desk staff provided bottle of water whenever one asked. Rooms were super clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed. I would definitely stay at this location again when I return to San Francisco.
Location, Location, LOCATION!!! A friend booked this hotel for me when I was visiting them in my favorite city. The Union Square address is perfect! Close to shopping and the doorman is a big plus! It's a typical Marriott--minus the bathrobes. Super clean and friendly! The front desk and bell staff were wonderful!! It's well located--far enough away from the sad situation in downtown SF! One draw back the bar didn't open until 5pm. Another was the $25 "destination fee". However, this fee was good for food/drink credit at the hotel--but I didn't use it because a I had dinner and breakfast plans outside the hotel. Overall--this hotel is a solid choice when visiting this amazing city!
A very good stay at downtown San francisco
The Marriott hotels always delivers. The room is big, clean, the wifi works great, and the breakfast is AMAZING. I had to change the room because the first one they gave me was a little noisy. I highly recommend the Marriott Union Square .
The door man, Fernando was the most helpful and knowledgeable and always greets you with a smile . If you need any information he has the answers . This man made our stay fantastic. Hotel was also very nice.
Reservation Magically Disappeared!!!
This review is for a stay did not happen because the Hotel messed up! Had 4 nights reserved here through my corporate travel agency as I was attending a conference at Moscone Center. Arrived at hotel last evening and they could not find my reservation!! Eventually, told me that the reservation was cancelled by me!! Called my TA after hours and they confirmed that was not the case and everything looked good. Of course, the hotel did not admit that they somehow messed up here and cancelled my reservation. I had gotten pretty good rates and wondering if they realized that and the fact they could resell the hotel room for almost twice price because of conference. Anyhow, I was forced to look for another hotel at 9 PM and decided to go to a Hilton property. I have stayed here before but will not ever venture in here ever. Have been a dedicated Marriott member all these years and will use other properties in area instead!! Very frustrating and imo ridiculous situation!
