Questioning Lifetime Titanium status. Worst room location ever!
Lifetime Titanium Elite member here for one night. We were expecting to relax and have a view of the water and airplanes before we venture out on our California vacation. Sad that we have achieved this Status and it got us a corner room facing another corner room. We can literally see the bed in the other room. Airplanes and water aren’t even an option. And those water view rooms are less than $50 more per night. Just not feeling the Marriott loyalty for all those year to achieve Lifetime titanium.

Great Airport hotel
Great locaton - both in terms of proximity to the SFO airport and the water front location with beautiful views. The hotel is very nice with a nice attrium bar/lobby area and comfortable rooms. You park yourself at the self park area right in front of the hotel. There is a shuttle to the airport too which i didnt use.

GREAT OPTION NEAR SFO
The San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront is an excellent option for staying near SFO. The rooms are spacious and clean and the attention of the staff is very good. The best are the rooms overlooking the airport runway.

Good place to stay if you have a layover for one day
I would have given this rating a 5 if the shuttle service from the airport to the hotel was much better (the reverse went smoothly). I was able to get the room even though I accidentally reserved for a wrong date. I liked the room and good view of the waterfront. I was on the second floor and it was surprisingly quiet. They do have a laptop safe. Food was good although a little pricey. I would stay here again if I have a one niight layover.

Unreliable and overcrowded shuttle let down an otherwise acceptable hotel
On check-in I was assured the shuttle runs on 15-minute schedule during the day. I waited 25 minutes at the hotel at 11.15 am together with a large number of people in front of me. There is no limit on how much luggage the shuttle will transfer so a group of 5 people who had more than 20 bags and boxes with them basically filled up the baggage area of a 20-seat bus. This meant our standard size large suitcases (we had just one each) had to be dragged up narrow stairs into the cabin of the bus and put on seats. Consequently, the bus was crammed full of people and bags, it then diverted away from the hotel to drop off people at the Hyatt Regency up the road. Many of those waiting at that stop were left behind. The shuttle is not actively monitored by the hotel at all, there was no one to ask where the shuttle was as the front desk is far inside the lobby. I phoned them from the driveway pick up point to enquire about the delay when the bus had not appeared!! Our room was opposite a laundry room that also contained a microwave and the door slammed noisily at all times of the day and night as people visited the room constantly- avoid room 4095 (executive studio suite) for that reason. Also, if you need a reliable shuttle service, look elsewhere.
