The Sahara is a classic Las Vegas strip institution. Unfortunately, it now sits in a bit of a no man’s land from the action of the strip. The room was clean, and unique. The team defyhelps, but the location would keep me from staying here again.

As for service it’s much to be desired. Dismissive I must say. After a trip from the east coast, all I wanted was to shower and wash my hair. Well to my surprise when opening the bag that the hair dryer was in what did I find…. Ladies underwear wrapped in plastic inside the bag!! Imagine how nasty that is Eeeeeeewwwwwaaaahhh I immediately called the front desk to report it. Was told by the operator that she’s let them know and she would send someone with another dryer. I believe her of course … nope nothing happened no one came so I went downstairs. Told them the story told them that I needed a hair dryer and they apologized and said someone would come up. They did. Later when I came down to ask exactly where the conference would be held they said check the board by the magic mike theater. If you are looking for the slightest help with any issue for get it! They definitely are not about cleanliness or service. I could be hey we don’t have to be that way because we have conferences all the time

Good hotel; great staff; terrible band in lounge.
I was at Sahara for conference with several colleagues. The rooms were fine. In casino there was entertainments at the Casbar” (I think) that I thought was doing bad karaoke, but was told it was “professionals” (battling pianos). They were terrible. Really made playing at tables difficult as they continued to get louder and less in tune. The cover of Pink’s “Get the Party Started” was one of the worst. I hope management stay late one day to listen and end this nightmare. Made me want to leave casino. Dealers were nice and good. Vibe was good.
