  Beach Oasis

  The room was spectacular. The service was excellent. The beach was a blast. Can’t say enough about the time we had. Would recommend

  I give the butlers a 100% they were awesome. Mel and Andrew the beach butler. Everything else I give a big fat ZERO. They ran out of food and liquor. Their customer service needs work. If you apply for a job that requires you to deal with the public make sure you’re ready to deal with all types of attitudes if not don’t say, “ yes” to the job. The resort is still under construction. A couple of people in my party had their rooms changed several times due to flooding in the room, no running water or no water I can go on and on there were too many issues and when it came time getting the issues rectified we were met with the utmost difficulty and disregard

  5 Star Staff 3,5 Resort

  Royalton Negril truly feels like a second home to us, and that is entirely because of the incredible front-line staff who have become like family over the years. Our personal butler, George, has taken care of us since our very first visit and is one of the main reasons we continue returning to this property despite ongoing resort nuisances that go ignored by management. He consistently goes above and beyond for me and my family, single-handedly making our stay feel like a 5-star experience. A huge thank-you also goes to our two favorite bartenders, Richard and Chana, who always keep everyone's glasses full, remember our preferred drinks without missing a beat, and greet every request with a warm 'no problem.' Where Royalton Negril seriously drops the ball is resort maintenance and, above all, the Prime membership program. Prime is sold as a premium tier guaranteeing superb, seamless service, yet the Prime team consistently falls flat on its promises. Upon arrival, we are assured of specific membership perks, only to face repeated pushback and billing issues for benefits that are supposed to be included at no charge. Specifically, we were told up to eight pieces of laundry were complimentary with our Prime membership, yet we were billed in full with nothing comped. We also pre-selected our in-room alcohol bottles online before arrival, only to find nothing waiting in the room—and when bottles were finally delivered, they sent whatever the resort chose rather than what we actually ordered. On top of that, the jacuzzi in our penthouse did not work at all during our stay despite being cleaned and inspected, and the promise that someone would return the next day turned into a complete no-call, no-show. Loyal members paying for Prime deserve accountability and follow-through, not a constant runaround for basic perks. The accommodating, hardworking staff easily earn 5 stars, while the resort and the Prime membership team earn a firm 3.5 until they start honoring what they promise.
