    Amazing experience at Royalton CHIC Cancun

    Arturo and Marisol were truly exceptional and made our stay unforgettable.     Great Time

    Just returned from a 10 day stay at Royalton Chic and I want to share my reviews. Positive: Bartender Oscar is fantastic. Ask him to make you a Strawberry Shortcake shot. They are too die for. When I first arrived it seemed the bartenders only served the people already there who have been giving them tips. So tip your bartender. Dining: Vespa and Hunter Restaurants are the best. Chopsticks is horrible and The seafood restaurant wasn't that good. I don't know if they were understaff but the fish had no taste. Buffet - great - the salmon was fantastic. The day before Xmas the buffet was decked out in chocolate sculptures, sweets, I have never seen anything as beautiful. Vibe Staff - great. Foam party was great. Gym Staff - First resort that I have been to where they run the classes even though there is one person. I had a personal boxing class. Fantastic. Negative: If you store your clothes in the closet open the door or don't store them in there because your items will smell like mold. Left my bag in there and had to air it out. DO NOT BOOK THE CATAMARAN for $70 US PP. Rip off - this is not a party boat, They pack you like sardines, extra $55 US for a golf cart if you want to see the island. The buffet is horrible and the second place they drop you off the water is disguisting. It is cloudy. Better to stay at the resort. COCO BOGO'S highly recommended. First time I went and I paid for a seat and it was totally worth it. Met people who we hung out most of the time so it made for an excellent trip.

    Not thrilled

    The rooms are very nice; although if you want privacy when you use the toilet you are out of luck The door to the toilet is glass and see through and there is literally no privacy from the rest of the room. If you are a vegetarian this is not the place for you. Omlette station had meat in every dish so you couldn’t get an actual vegetarian omlette unless you like bits of ham or bacon in it The first day the chicken that was served to my husband and my mom was very undercooked. The staff were very apologetic about it Don’t waste your time with a la Carte. The food was poor, and service is slow The elevators are a NIGHTMARE. I would have been happy to take the stairs however the stairs are not accessible unless it’s an emergency. They are accessible through the back of the buffet restaurant and cloud 9 Restaurants which is closed during the day!!! The fitness facility was HOT and tiny Overall not thrilled. I have had better experiences at other Royaltons If it weren’t for the staff I would have rated it 1 star Definitely won’t go back
