Nov 04, 2026An Amazing Stay!
This was a couple’s getaway to celebrate my husband’s birthday. I honestly can’t say enough good things about our stay at the Royal Palm South Beach. We experienced quite a bit of Florida rain during our trip, but the Royal Palm helped make this one of our favorite getaways! LOCATION - The Royal Palm is located at the north end of Ocean Drive, and we thought the location was perfect! It was an easy walk to explore Ocean Drive and Lincoln Rd area for food, shopping, and entertainment. We felt very safe in this area during our day and evening outings. THE HOTEL & STAFF - The hotel has been recently renovated, and everything was exceptionally clean with a beautiful ambiance. However, what really made this hotel stand out was the staff! From the moment we arrived, the valet team greeted us warmly and consistently opened doors for us throughout our stay. The front desk, concierge, gift shop attendant, bar staff, restaurant hostess, server, pool attendant, housekeeping, and beach staff were all genuinely friendly and welcoming. Every time we passed an employee, we were greeted with a smile or a friendly hello. Those little gestures make a big difference. Their beach attendant was so friendly, attentive, and helpful when getting us settled with our beach chairs. OUR ROOM - We stayed in a Junior Suite in the West Tower on the 15th floor. We had a corner room facing Collins Avenue, which also had a beach view. The large windows and small balcony allowed us to enjoy the Miami city views, and we even got to watch cruise ships sailing out of the port! The room was spacious, very clean, with a comfortable bed, desk, couch, two TVs, safe, small refrigerator, and full-length mirror (which I loved!). One bonus for me was the hairdryer! As someone with thick hair, I usually find hotel hairdryers disappointing, so I was pleasantly surprised to find a BaByliss hairdryer in our bathroom. Nice touch! BEACH, POOL & HOTEL AMENITIES - Guests receive two complimentary beach lounge chairs and beach towels per room, with the option to rent an umbrella. There is an attendant who walks around offering food and drink service to guests at the beach and pool. Our favorite amenity was the complimentary hotel bicycles! Guests have access to the bikes for two hours each day. We really enjoyed riding along the Miami Beach Ocean Walk path from the hotel all the way down to South Pointe. It was such a fun way to explore Miami Beach. The hotel has plenty of covered outdoor seating and a fire pit. We enjoyed this outdoor space, spending time together. DINING – We ate breakfast at the Paloma Club, the hotel’s poolside restaurant, every morning. The host and servers were always cheerful, welcoming, and friendly. Our waitress was especially sweet and attentive, remembered us each morning, and our drink preferences. We tried something different from the menu each morning and ended up trying almost everything by the end of our stay. Their portions are very generous. I honestly couldn’t pick a favorite menu item because every single thing we ordered was delicious! One recommendation is to try the French toast just for their guava sauce! The hotel’s coffee bar also has bakery items available during the day. GIFT SHOP - The gift shop had a nice variety of essentials and souvenirs. I love the hotel’s logo, it’s so professional and chic! I had planned to purchase something with the hotel logo as a keepsake from our trip. I’m sad that I forgot before we left! CUSTOMER SERVICE - I want to share one last example of the exceptional customer service we experienced. After checking out, we realized we had misplaced an item. We were searching through our luggage and beginning to panic because we needed to leave to catch our flight. One of the hotel employees noticed our situation and immediately sent a front desk attendant to assist us. He personally took our luggage back to our already checked-out room so we could continue searching privately. It may seem like a small gesture, but in that moment, it meant so much to us. That kind of personal attention and willingness to help is what makes a hotel experience memorable. A COUPLE OF SMALL SUGGESTIONS - There are only a couple of things I would suggest improving. The bathroom is very spacious, but there isn’t much storage space for toiletries. Adding a wall hook where guests could hang a toiletry bag would be helpful. There is limited clothing storage in the room, so we ended up keeping most of our clothes in our luggage. Adding a luggage rack in the room would make accessing clothing much easier and convenient. These were just minor inconveniences though. OVERALL EXPERIENCE - We absolutely loved our Miami stay at the Royal Palm South Beach! Even with the rainy weather, we made wonderful memories. I highly recommend the Royal Palm South Beach hotel and will be staying here again on future trips to Miami Beach!

Perfect beach stay for two kids. Check in/out: Smooth and fast. Thank you Mr. Rafael for your efficiency. We got the bungalow on second floor - rooms were very clean and recently renovated. All amenities wete available. Cons - If you’re a light sleeper, good luck. On our second night there was a bunch of teenagers staying at the open space between rooms watching shows and playing games until midnight. We could hear everything. I called the reception and they made them lower their voices. Unfortunately that’s all they could do. We didn’t have any neighbors next door hence we never experienced any noise from other rooms. Just get a room high up. It’s not something I would be bothered by but I did wake up multiple times at night from outside noise. Beach/pool - You get four towels and two chairs per room. Staff at the beach was superb. Elijah and Bryan you have been wonderful. The lady too but I sort of forgot her name. Kudos to the team! The beach was clean and well kept. Not many drinks offered and food maybe a bit more of a variety would be better. Breakfast at Paloma - The menu is limited, especially for kids. I found the service a but slow but I guess it’s not the season yet hence they don’t need that much staff. Tita and Stefanie have been great and I appreciate their amazing attitude and spirit. They are super nice and helpful. We were on flood watch on our second morning hence we all had to go in at the bar inside for breakfast. The staff tried their best but since this is a tropical city you’d assume that hotels are better equipped for these emergencies instead of having us all at the bar. It was a but chaotic. Again, I think the staff tried their very best. Would I come again? Yes for sure.

Relaxing beach stay
Had a great experience at this hotel, clean rooms that are decorated nicely and a good size. Loved the pool and beach access. Cyrus was wonderful helping set up the chairs and helping me have a great beach day!

Wonderful Remodeled Property
We stayed one night before a cruise. Beautiful remodeled property. Nice pool and easy access to beach and walk along beach. Many restaurants within easy walking distance. Staff were all very nice and friendly. Wesley at the pool bar area was wonderful. We would certainly stay here again.

Fresh, Modern Update
Great renovation and an awesome location, close to plenty of shops and restaurants. Would recommend this for anyone wanting a hotel close to the beach. The art deco district is less than 500m walk from Royal Palms.
