The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean but nothing special, it was hard to find out what and where things were happening on the property and impossible to get a seat at the pool or beach unless you are up at the crack of dawn to put a towel out. So many chairs were claimed that sat empty most of the day. That was frustrating. The food was good but lacked clear identification. The entertainment ran too late and loud for being right below all the rooms Overall, what you come to expect from an all- inclusive resort.

The rooms were cleaned in a timely matter. There was a variety of food to choose from and presented very well. I would stay at this hotel again.

Month Long Stay
This was an extended stay, not a quick week in and out, so we experienced a lot during our visit. Overall as a group of 3 adults we are mostly satisfied. Hotel staff are very good, the room cleaning staff are very good, grounds are beautifully kept. Pools need some repairs but were well maintained in the interim and very clean. Entertainment was good and diverse. Its obvious that everything is set up for a weekly rotation but we expected that and it was just fine. A la Carte restaurants are first come first served! Really! Develop the app like everyone else does so you can plan your dining choice instead of standing in line early to get a spot. That's a minus. Food was varied and done well. Professional and clean prep areas and serving areas. That's a plus! During our stay there was unsettled activity in Old PV, we felt safe where we were and the staff remained professional. The management scaled back what was available at the bars and food choices due to what we were told was staffing issues but I think it was because of the cancellation of international travelers. Our first RIU visit. I think management should benchmark other hotels to make sure they provide the value for dollar customers have come to expect. We did have a great visit and would like to thank the hotel staff for being such wonderful hosts.

I wish the restaurants were all open. It seemed like only one was open per night and you had to get there early to wait in line. One night we waited in line for a long time. When we got to the front, they told us they were booked for the rest of the night and we had to eat at the buffet.

13 years and counting
We have been coming to same resort for 13 years and will continue to do so. We appreciate same people working here for so long and they make our stay very pleasant- Tony, Alex, Laura, Riccardo, Israel and Diana make our stay wonderful. Will definitely book again, maybe even bring entire famile.
