We visited for my wife’s birthday. The location is perfect for the shows and Restaurant Row. Local bars were excellent as well. Parking options are close by and easy walk to hotel. We will be visiting again and will stay at this location again!
Great food, employees and space in general
Visited for one week with my family, great experience, food and employees, especially Melica, the receptionist for dinner, beautiful, gentle, definitely deserves a lot and has a lot of future. The room was very good and the and always clean. Only problem were the noises from the air conditioner during the night. Really recommend it.
From checking in to checking out this hotel was brilliant. The staff were very attentive, could not do enough. Room was upgraded we were on 26th floor with a balcony. Spotless clean bedding, room and bathroom. Breakfast was delicious, all you could eat with everything from cereals, pastries, cooked, fruit and continental meats. the choice was extensive. I cannot comment on evening meals as we did not have one there but others have said they were very good. Getting around from here was so easy, we purchased a 2 day hop on hop off bus ticket to get around and also see the sights at night, wonderful, we also did an awful lot of walking, it was so easy to get to all tourists attractions on foot even though we could have used our ticket. We would highly recommend staying here which we would if and when we go again
Chose this hotel because of the proximity to what we wanted to do, it was a vet short walk to the subway to and from the airport. It was also only 1 block away from Times Square. There are numerous places to eat within walking distance. The hotel it’s self was clean and managed by friendly staff, we were welcomed by Alexi on reception who was very friendly. Our room was on the 30th floor so we had good views. The only problem with our particular room was it backed on to the elevator shaft so we was disturbed by the noise of the elevator. Thankfully this lift was only really for the upper floors so wasn’t as noisy as what it could potentially have been. There room had blackout curtains which was a godsend, particularly as I don’t cope well with light coming through the curtains. The room had a fridge with bottled water in which was replenished every alternate day. Plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe which also had a safe to keep valuables. The bathroom was really lovely with plenty of hot water and a good powerful shower. The real positive of this hotel is it’s fabulous breakfast. This can get noisy and busy but it’s a big hotel so what do you expect - however the hosts are super efficient at seating people and the line soon goes down. The breakfast room can be a bit of a squeeze at some of the tables. There are 2 rooms each with their own service areas. I did think the juice bar is in the wrong place as you have to disrupt the line for hot food to get juice. Also my other negative is the hot drink machine which although was good coffee there just needed to be a second machine in each room for the sheer volume of people. However - the food choices were fabulous, good choices of hot and cold from yogurt, cereal, bacon, sausage, cold meats, cheeses, pasties, fruit, toast, bagels and bread rolls. Something for everyone. I would stay again and recommend any one else to stay.
Clean, friendly nice hotel in fantastic location
Great hotel - not luxury but very clean, friendly service and fantastic location. Bonus to have breakfast included plus two bottles of water in the room. Important tip - to get electricity to work in your room, be sure to put your room key in a slot on the wall near the door. We’ve travelled all over the world, staying in all different types of hotels and this was the first time we saw this!
