Very nice location, bus right outside hotel, beach 1 minute walk, breakfast ok but hot food sometimes cold, staff friendly and helpful,,location ideal lots of shopping, free bus service ,beach is lovely very hot too. Recommend too friend

Mar 15, 2025Big, clean rooms, good breakfast, rubbish air con....
Lovely, big, clean rooms, hot powerful shower, but air con system is old and doesn't get very cool. With the fan on it was adequate in march but wouldn't fancy my chances in the hotter summer months. Hotel is mainly quiet at night so sleep not disturbed. Swimming pool is nice but not very peaceful, some building works are going on around the hotel (not in) and lots of children so don't expect total peace and relaxation. Easy access to beach with lots of sundowners belonging to hotel. Quite difficult to get full sun at pool all day due to shade from trees but beach is full sun. Breakfast is more than adequate but can get very busy. Cereals, salad, meats, cheeses, fresh omlettes/eggs, pastries, cakes etc. Bread selection could be a little stale. Toasters are temperamental and either hardly toast or burn bread Would have liked more fruit selection ie. Berries. Quite annoying the the hotel doesnt allow water bottles to be filled at breakfast and there is no access to drinking water in reception all day- money making scheme and not something I've experienced in European and Asian hotels. Pool bar serves decent food, had salads, and nachos. Bars, supermarkets and restaurants a short walk from the hotel. Check out is a bit of an issue if you have an evening/late flight home, as there are no showering/changing facilities and check out is at 12 midday. Didn't really appreciate having to wash by the pool. Lifts are a bit of a nightmare at busy times.

Good Hotel
The staff is very polite. Problems with elevators. Location is very good. Breakfast is nice. But coffee is poor quality.

Great Stay
Loved the large warm pool, the beach front chairs and umbrellas, and the extensive breakfast buffet. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Great staff. We took advantage of the 25% first night evening buffet discount, and it was excellent. The chicken at the carving station was very tender, and all the other dishes, vegetables, salads, and desserts were great. The only items to take note of are that: - the outdoor restaurant and bar seating seems to allow smoking, so even though there are few smokers these days, if you are a non-smoker you might want to sit on the upwind side. - the pool closes at 6 and gets pretty crowded in the afternoon but is warm and almost empty in the morning so is great for lap swimming. - you may experience a several minute wait for the 3 elevators during busy parts of the day, so if you are coming down from the 5th floor or so during mealtimes you might want to consider using the stairs. - the boardwalk is lovely to walk on but be sure to stay to the far right to avoid bicyclists, skateboarders, and joggers. - most museums are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. - loved the Art Deco hotels along Ocean Drive. Just hop on the #100 bus and tap your credit card at Indian Creek and 31st street to get to South Beach.

Great Experience in Miami
Great location, great hotel, great pillows. The breakfast was amazing as it suited everyone. The bar was good to have & you could get food. The pool was lovely with excellent poolside service. Everything was spotless & I would definitely stay here again. The downside for me was I didn’t get a balcony so I couldnt smoke. I learnt to deal with it so hey ho as my son booked the surprise trip, so I won’t knock it
