Superb breakfasts but minimal room and problem lifts
My wife and I stayed for 5 nights in room 1032. ARRIVAL Bus 150 from airport, fare $2.25. Need stop 29 and then a 5 minute walk. It took about 25 minutes. To return to airport, the bus stops outside the hotel. Check in was efficient, but brusque. A replacement key cost $10 we were told! ROOM We were surprised there were 2 wash basins in the main room. There was a unit for storage of 2 suitcases. A wall unit comprised a fridge, which could not be adjusted for temperature, 3 drawers and a desk. There was a large wall tv. A cupboard with sliding doors contained a safe, ironing board and iron, spare blanket and hanging space with lots of hangers. There were 2 bedside cabinets, one easy chair, a desk chair and table. We didn’t think there was a lot of storage space. There was a/c, an overhead fan and flashing smoke alarm. A filter coffee maker was provided with 2 packets of coffee. There was a standard lamp, desk lamp, bedside lights but no central light. The bed had 2 pillows, no spares, and one cushion. The floor was laminated, no rugs, and the sink area was tiled. We were disturbed by noise from next door and rang reception, but otherwise it was reasonably quiet. BATHROOM Freely opening door with no fixings. There was a large walk in shower and toilet. There was one towel hanging hook otherwise towels had to hang above the toilet. There was a wall dispenser for shampoo/gel and separate body lotion, soap and conditioner were provided. The hotel endorsed saving water but the toilet was not dual flush. The shower was very efficient. We had a balcony with 2 chairs and table. It was not very private. There was a good view of the ocean. The pool was very popular. BREAKFAST It opened at 07.30 and there was always a queue. Seating was inside or outside. If outside, beware of swooping birds after food. There was a superb selection of all types of food. Fruit, cereals, various hot dishes, salads, cold meats, pastries, breads. We had an omelette cooked to order each day. Coffee was poured at the table, or there were also machines. The breakfasts can not be praised highly enough. Our biggest complaint is with the lifts. On 2 days of our stay, only one lift out of three was working. It was horrendous. People were getting in a lift and going up to ensure they had a space. People were walking down the stairs with suitcases. The hotel put on extra staff to manage to queues, Once, the lift got stuck with lots of laundry in it. We understand mechanical failures, but the management should have issued an apology to clients. Things slightly improved in that by the time we left 2 lifts were operational. Overall, we felt the hotel room was somewhat “minimal” and the addition of extra cushions, a bigger variety of, and more, drinks, another easy chair and spare pillows would create a more luxurious feel. The information stated there were charges for many services e.g. calling a doctor. However, breakfasts were wonderful.

Great place to stay
The staff was great from the moment we arrived. Antonio checked us in and he was the epitome of what customer service is about. He was very helpful and made the process very seamless. Cleaning staff was excellent also. Property was well kept, great experience!

Holiday of a lifetime ,not!
Nice hotel , rude cleaning staff and lifts shambles , on checkout day waiting 45 minutes to get into a lift with suitcases cos lifts constant full of people going to the pool , suggestion between 11-12 am man one lift and only allow people checking out with cases to access the lift , save a lot of bad feelings

An average stay
Check in was smooth and hotel lobby lovely and spacious. We had a city view room which was spacious and clean though did have a musty smell. We were on a bed and breakfast basis and found the breakfast to have lots of choice but very busy. Lifts were a shambles as only one out of two working during our 6 night stay, you could use the service lift and the staff tried to help to organise the lobby lift area to the best they could. Pool area was well kept and we ate at the pool cafe for lunch which was tasty. You can exit from the back hotel entrance straight onto the beach walk. We hired a car and used the valet parking, you were forced to use valet parking, $42 per night, you couldn’t park your car in the hotel car park yourself. Not enough spaces as our car was held overnight in the hotel driveway. We found the staff to be helpful and they did their best but the rooms and corridors need a refurb. The rooms don’t match the impression that’s created with the hotel lobby. Wouldn’t rush back.

Amazing hotel!!
My wife and I have been here multiple times now because we love it here! The views amazing, the rooms and service is amazing and we live that the pool area feels more like a resort. Highly recommend this hotel. Good pricing as well.
