  Disappointingly average

  Over priced and over rated. Whilst I found staff friendly and helpful and location convenient for the theatre the hotel itself was very disappointing for price paid. The website boasts amazing views but we had the side of a building, windows and a gravel view. The hotel itself is very confusing to navigate. The room was very basic. Facilities for two were given although we booked a triple room. More pillows were requested as only 1 given per bed. No tea spoons only wooden stirrer. Sadly I think if I were to travel to London again I'd stick with premier inn or travel Lodge as on par facilities wise.

  Great London Hotel

  We recently stayed here again and had such a wonderful experience that I had to share a review. What made this visit even more special was that the staff actually remembered us from our stay last year, such a thoughtful touch that made us feel truly welcomed. A huge thank you to Ogerta, Maira, Jose, Marius, Macarena, Pradhim and all the staff who made my daughter’s birthday so memorable. Everyone went out of their way to make the day feel special, and we really appreciated the kindness and attention. The breakfast was amazing as always. If anything, it has only got better since our last visit. The quality and variety were excellent and it was a great way to start the day. It’s little things like the warm service and personal touches that make this place stand out. We had a fantastic stay and cannot wait to come back for another visit. Highly recommended

  Excellent hotel in prime central location. Great value for money.

  The hotel was excellent in almost all areas. The location was incredibly convenient with major bus routes and the train station only two blocks away. Theaters, shopping, grocery stores, drug stores, pubs, and other attractions are just a short walk away. The cleanliness of all areas, including our room, was the best I’ve experienced in any hotel. Absolutely spotless everywhere. The staff were attentive, professional, and helpful. Two examples. First, it made a big difference to us that the front desk staff enabled us to check in early after we’d had a long flight from the US. Another request for additional pillows was swiftly taken care of. Second, the manager of the breakfast buffet room was constantly alert and managing staff and food to ensure a quality experience. Our room was extremely well designed to provide great storage for our belongings with clever storage shelves in places that other hotels don’t think of (like storage drawers in the side tables). Minor area that needs improvement: Soundproofing could have been improved in our room. Could hear people coughing or talking in the hall. Great variety of food in the breakfast buffet and the service was excellent. The croissants were the best I’ve ever had. You could have a full English breakfast if you wanted it. Minor areas in the buffet that need improvement : 1. Some traditional British staples like marmalade, good quality jam, scones, crumpets, and Bakewell tarts weren’t offered. 2. The hard-boiled eggs were overly boiled. Overall, this was a flawless hotel experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quality hotel that’s good value for money in a convenient central London location.

  Excellent experience.

  Riu was very nice. Clean modern room, good location, fantastic breakfast buffet and the staff were friendly. Would definitely stay again.

  Location, Breakfast, Clean and Friendly

  We return from our weeklong trip to London a week ago and first time stay at A RIU property. Our flight had been canceled from the States, and the hotel was helpful in addressing our concerns with the delay. I chose this hotel for the proximity to a Tube station (Victoria), the breakfast buffet and modern amenities. We were not disappointed. It is a 3-minute walk to the station, Wicked and Hamilton. The breakfast buffet offers something for everyone. We would stay here again and look forward to trying other RIU properties (Manhattan). I felt the value was in accordant with the price. The area was safe and no problems with noise level. One thing for American travelers, we had to ask for wash clothes. This might be a European thing that it's not standard in rooms, but they were quickly delivered when asked.
