  Incredible hotel!

  Everything about this hotel is 5 star! The location is perfect, room was comfortable with awesome bedding. The room was spacious and breakfast was delicious. Located a very short walk to Victoria station and to several restaurants!

  Great hotel for nearby visitor attractions

  Great location conveniently situated near Victoria tube station. Room was spacious we had a view over London which was amazing. Breakfast choice is huge something for everyone. Staff were constantly checking on food availability and bringing out fresh supplies. Stored our luggage until we left the hotel mid afternoon. Very helpful staff.

  Very disappointing experience with accessibility

  We stayed at the RIU Plaza London Victoria in October 2026. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by a very disappointing and upsetting situation regarding accessibility. We had booked our stay through a travel agency and had specifically requested a family room, clearly explaining that one of the guests uses a wheelchair. Despite this, we were allocated a standard room. During check-in, we were asked to complete forms about what would need to happen in the event of a fire, including whether I could stand or walk and whether I would need assistance during an evacuation. I clearly indicated that I cannot walk and would need help. After completing these forms, we were simply sent to our room. It was only when we arrived in the room that we discovered there was no shower chair. As a wheelchair user who cannot stand independently, I need a safe way to shower. This is not a luxury or an optional extra. It is a basic necessity. What upset me most was not just the lack of a shower chair, but the hotel’s complete unwillingness to think along with us and find a reasonable solution. We even offered to use a simple garden chair or similar seat at our own risk, if the hotel could provide one. However, this was also refused, with the hotel referring to its policies. The only alternative offered was to book an additional accessible room at an extra cost of £480 per night. This would also have meant that our teenage daughter would have had to sleep alone in a separate room. We found this completely unreasonable. We had clearly communicated our needs in advance and were willing to work with the hotel to find a practical solution. Instead, even our own suggestion was rejected, leaving us with an extremely expensive alternative that would have separated our family. Accessibility should mean more than simply having a room that a wheelchair user can enter. It should also mean understanding guests’ needs, communicating properly and showing a willingness to find reasonable solutions when something has gone wrong. The lack of flexibility and understanding was deeply disappointing and genuinely hurtful. We had hoped to enjoy a lovely family stay in London, but this experience caused unnecessary stress and left us feeling that our needs were not taken seriously. We hope RIU takes this feedback seriously and reviews how it handles accessibility requests. No guest should have to face this kind of situation simply because they need a safe way to shower. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below the level of care, hospitality and accessibility we expected from a hotel of this standard

  Excellent hotel

  Really enjoyed this hotel, clean, friendly staff, excellent breakfast buffet, well situated near many restaurants, theatres and Victoria Station. I highly recommend this hotel. Great value

  Great Hotel !

  Beautiful Hotel. Nicest Hotel weve stayed in for all 5 trips we’ve been to Europe. Our room was spacious, modern and nicely decorated. The breakfast was really good with many many choices with pancakes/ waffles, cereals , yogurt, sausages, eggs , bacon large variety of fresh fruit rolls, sweet buns , doughnuts and tosst .staff was friendly and helpful. Location was fantastic a block to Victoria Station . It was a hub for trains, the tube and it was a coach depot. So easy to get around London. The area the hotel is in is safe to walk around at night.
