This was an amazing experience, loved all the lights and the energy of the hotel. Perfect location access to all the stores, metro train across the street. The views were absolutely amazing. The staff Alvaro was very instrumental in us having a wonderful experience. They hop on hop off bus stop is right in front of hotel.

Beautiful hotel and great staff
The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. Great staff and we had a lovely room overlooking the park to the front of the hotel. We loved the rooftop bar, great atmosphere and service from staff with great views over the city. We will definitely return and we love Riu hotels and visited many in different countries.

Fantastic staff in a beautiful hotel
From arrival to departure the staff were amazing. Everyone we met were friendly and helpful. We used customer services on a couple of occasions for tips on restaurants and found them to be really knowledgeable and keen to help. The lift system in the hotel runs smoothly so I am surprised that previous reviews reported issues. Breakfast was exceptional, with hot choices of various sausages, bacon, numerous variety of eggs, tomatoes and beans, usually considered to be a full English. There was a large selection of fruit, yoghurts, cheeses, cold meats, cereals, pastries, pancakes (with the largest container of Nutella I’ve ever seen 😋), breads and churros. There was also a vast choice of cold and hot drinks including smoothies and champagne. Breakfast was available until 10.30 week days and 11.00 weekends which allowed plenty of time to enjoy a relaxing morning. As guests of the hotel we had free access to the 360 roof bar with amazing photo opportunities of the beautiful city. We went up every evening for pre dinner drinks and were always shown to a table. The queues for the viewing platform were always long in an evening as non residents are allowed to pay for access however we went up on the morning of our arrival and were able to get photos from the platform after only a very short wait. Our room was very comfortable with a King sized bed, plenty of toiletries, iron, fridge and a hairdryer. There were two large well lit mirrors in the room which I find are often lacking in some hotels. Coffee, tea and water were available in the room and replenished daily. The view from our room was to the front over the Christmas ice rink and market with amazing opportunity to watch the sun set. I cannot fault anything about our stay and will definitely return to this hotel if we visit this beautiful city again.. Muchas gracias The location of the hotel was just perfect, being central to most places we wanted to visit, only a 10 minute walk to the Royal Palace and a metro stop right outside for travelling further afield.

Overall the stay was satisfactory. We just had a minor issue when leaving the luggage at the hotel, since we got early at the Hotel and the room weren’t ready , when we came back to pick it up, some of the luggage wasn’t all together and it seemed to be lost. After 10 min it was found in another room. When we asked the the bell boy where was it, he mentioned that he didn’t know and no further action was to be taken. A bit scare. The Roof top amazing, great time there. Room excellent. The A/C wasn’t working because I was told the hotel was not in season. Has to sleep with the windows open and a lots of noise from the road.
