Hotel was excellent all round. The standard of service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the staff of which there were plenty. The facilities were great particularly the roof top bar and the breakfast service was epic.

Perfect Location and Roof Bar
Hotel perfect location and great roof bar for most amazing sunsets. We booked hotel for a 3 night stay. Hotel has beautiful lobby and really helpful staff. Its a very big hotel , rooms are clean tidy and quite basic and simple. But everything you need there. The 360 roof top and roof bar are amazing with cleat bridges connecting the two areas and a platform to get best pictures at sunset. It does get busy but if staying at hotel there are no ques. Atmosphere is buzzing. Hotel has metro station outside and shops and restaurants at your door step. Breakfast is really good, 2 seating areas and even if busy the food stations don't get overcrowded . We didn’t use pool but did go to have a look, its very small, not sure how many people can actually get in during summer period. But for us going to see Shakira and sightseeing we didn’t need to use pool. Would definitely return and recommend. Door staff were so helpful with recommendations. Check in and check out really quick amd easy too

Oct 14, 2026misleading pricing
I visited the website for this hotel to make a reservation, and the room rates seemed reasonable—but there was a catch. For instance, after agreeing to a room rate—say, 250 euros—you would be redirected to another page featuring a photo of the hotel, with arrows pointing to various rooms that were priced higher than the rate originally advertised. I won’t be staying there; this kind of deceptive tactic is certainly not consumer-friendly. There are plenty of other, more affordable options that don’t rely on misleading pricing.

Great stay
We were very happy with our stay in the Hotel Riu Plaza Espana in October 2026. The room with twin beds was clean and comfortable, beds were to our taste and it was very quiet during the nights. The location was perfect and we could walk to most places. We also appreciated the breakfast selection and kind service from all the personnel. We will be back!
