Great city break

This was our second time staying at this RIU and as always the hotel is very clean and comfortable. Bed is nice and firm and we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast is the usual offering from RIU plenty of hot and cold options and they have gluten free pancakes which are a treat. Overall great value for money for a short break.

Film city trip

Hotel was a perfect location, staff super friendly, especially Andres in restaurant, gluten free friendly, we went with a 12&16yr old and they loved it. Would definitely come back

Staff are amazing

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a fantastic stay at the Riu Plaza Berlin. From the moment I arrived, the staff were absolutely superb — professional, welcoming and genuinely friendly throughout. A special shout-out to Bruno, who went above and beyond to make the stay even better. His attitude and attention to detail really stood out. I didn’t experience the food or the bar during my visit, but that wasn’t the purpose of my trip. What I can say is that everything else was excellent. The cleanliness was first-class, the room was extremely comfortable, and the overall standard of the hotel was impressive. The location is also spot on — convenient, well connected and ideal for getting around Berlin with ease. All in all, a brilliant stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and would happily recommend it to others.

Excellent hotel

Excellent hotel. Located within easy reach of the u-bhan. Very short walk up to KDV. Very close to the gay bars. Hotel is very gay friendly and very welcome to those that attend events like folsom and Easter Berlin. Only downside was that there was no door to the bathroom and the shower cubicle was a glass door. Was staying with a friend in same room which made it slightly awkward when either of us wanted to shower. Already got another booking sorted at this hotel, so obviously the bathroom/shower issue wasn't to much of an issue for us to navigate. Please note that we were in a family room, I have seen in a standard twin room and there is more privacy for the bathroom.
