Fantastic hotel with excellent service and friendly staff. We highly recommend this hotel. Wide range of activities and entertainment, crystal clear waters and clean beaches. Not so many Americans but many South American's so a plus if you know a few phrases in Spanish.

Great resort for family
Traveled with 2 small children and there were plenty of food options and activities for all. Service is really good and the staff is always looking for ways to make your stay very pleasant. The beach is awesome, clean blue ocean with no sea weeds.

Belting service
First off....... Big well done to nostrom on the lobby bar, what a gent, helpful, pleasant and a credit to the riu chain. Overall staff to a person were faultless though the swim up bar could be challenging at times. Overall A1 for the staff. Nice comfy rooms (mattress toppers available for beds just ask). Very good food for the money and an amazing location. Booked riu palace pacifico for Xmas and riu palace macao for October. Riu chain are great.

Great Vacation
Just returned from a 10 day stay and was impressed. Resort was renovated 5 years ago and the changes were great. They now have 2 large pools with plenty of loungers. No more towel game. The swim up bar also has large tables in the water, so much more room. The beach is raked every morning and the grounds were cleaned non stop. All the employees try very hard to keep you happy. The food was excellent. We had a coffee maker in the room. There is a no smoking policy now in all common areas. The only negative comment i can make is the walk from lobby to pool/ beach is very long. Anyone with a mobility issue will have a problem.
