We're regulars to thus hotel, this being our 5th visit, we love everything about the hotel, however we've noticed since covid, the quality of food and choice has drastically de lined, food is regularly stone cold, same choices every night. The staff however are amazing, they go above and beyond, we just feel the food needs to be of.better quality and hot
Great location and staff
Location, size, and staff are wonderful!! We are very disappointed that everything to drink has sucralose in it!! The juices and even the regular sodas! We even went across the road to buy "regular" Coke and there was none available. Is this a thing in Mexico now?!?! I have a sensitivity to the artificial sweeteners and paid for them but couldn't enjoy!🥺
Great location, food is good, some unexpected issues
Great location, food is good but, we arrived and after arranging and confirming the total price of our stay, they ended charging us some taxes that they said were not included. We got tour room and smelled so we lower the AC and went to dinner and a show. When we came back to the room the temp of the AC was still the same one and the room was not cool. we called front desk and they told us that there were sending someone to check it but, they never came. The next day we went to front desk and told them, they send a maintenance person who indicated that the AC was working... they promise they will change us the room but, this never happened. We ended up using the fan and what it was of the AC and we managed. Location is 20 min walking from la 5th avenue, peatonal, and safe to walk there. I asked for some protein or healthier smoothie, they could not do it... they need to come up with healthier drinks. The stay was very good overall, we relaxed and enjoy the view.
hotel and location were excellent. 20 minutes walk to playa del Carmen lovely eating places no hassle from traders. Great beach. Lids to do in the hotel service was unbelievable. Great pools loads of beds and the rooms were very clean.
Very well organised.
Overall a very good stay. Restaurants and facilities are pretty much inline with what you expect from a Mexican all inclusive. Not much more, not much less. Where this hotel does seem to excel is within its organisation and planning with staff working tirelessly around the clock to ensure everything comes together. Plus points…. Beach area is well kept and various daily activities. The catamarans that are available for guests to use are a fantastic way to break up the day out on the open sea. Pool areas - well maintained and cleaned daily. Bars - including the snack bar offer a good choice and are well staffed. Rooms - Clean and tidy and again staff do a great job. Negatives….. Found it impossible to get an inter-connecting room with our teenage children. Management sold us an upgrade which promised to be inter connecting but when we returned to the new room they weren’t even adjoining. Just in the same block and on the same floor. No apologies and no refund despite stating that we only paid for the upgrade to get interconnecting rooms. ‘Resident drug dealer’. In all fairness, polite and friendly guy. Located at the joining point of the beach and there daily with his partner and a dog. Not rude or pushy but just slightly bizarre that it’s allowed. Staff (including security, animation and photographers) know him and chat daily with him so they’re well aware of the set up and guests that buy drugs also bring him beers which back up on the sun loungers as they arrive quicker than they are drunk. Food. Great choice although the quality is at best average.
