Room was nice but so musty smelling, pillows were like cottage cheese and not enough blankets, house keeping didn't come twice, and upon check out there was an unfortunate incident. We brought our bags down on time for check out. There was a line to check out so we took the kids for lunch and came back to hand in the key cards. We were then informed we owed $120 usd for a late check out. We indicated that this was an honest mistake and asked for some leniency. After speaking with a few different customer service reps they said they could only reduce it by half. That was best and final. Sunwing Rep asked them to check cameras to prove that we were there on time. They refused. They indicated that if I refused to pay they would call the police. There were 19 of us on this trip, the 60$ was more important to them then providing good customer service and having 19 of us leaving happy. The cost for all of us to go was around 30k. This 60$ "late" fee was made into a way bigger deal than necessary. Afterwards I posted a google review and in their response they lied and said that what I wrote was inaccurate and that security intervened for unwanted behaviour. NOT TRUE!! I do not recommend this resort.

This was a very nice vacation. The hotel was a bit old but still very nice and well organized. New Year's Eve was also very festive with great food and fireworks. We had a great time

Resort was wonderful! Everyone was friendly. The workers work really hard every day. Lots of activities through out the day . So you’re never bored . Our room was #14 and the view was absolutely stunning of the family pool and ocean . Our only complaint would be , when they take your bracelet on departure day. They don’t let you use the pool or restaurants besides lobby one . We are well travelled and stayed at Riu Jamaica, Punta Cana ect and this is the first time ever . Kind of puts a bad taste in your mouth on the last day . Plus having security and lifeguards escort you out is a little extreme

Annual Family
Resort was very clean Bar staff were excellent especially those in the lounge bar. The food at the buffet was average - much better in the speciality restaurants. Note: the Beef in any restaurant and buffet was very very tough. Being an English speaking tourist I found that the all entertainment and tours were biased towards Spanish first French second and English was a distant Last. On all Kids entertainment my small grandchildren did not understand what was being said and therefore could not participate in the activities. This was very disappointing.

Amazing place(for the price paid!!!)
We really enjoyed our stay. We were a group of 17 during the holidays in 2024. This hotel is well maintained for 15 years old and plus hotel They wash the floor every single minute of the day !!! The pool for the kid is fantastic and we appreciated that the restaurant did not take any reservation. You just go there when you’re hungry for dinner.
