I come to Cancun every year with family and friends, but in the summer and we always stay at Riu’s hotels. This February 2026 I had to come for business and stayed at the Riu Palace Peninsula and have experienced the BEST customer service of any of the Riu’s or any other hotel in Cancun. From the person that sweeps the floor to the managers, their smiles and “HOLA” make you feel right at hime. The food is fantastic and the rooms are so extreme clean. My hats off to management for such a delightful stay. Keep up the good work.

Its a nice place and for couple and family’s vacation. Close to airport location. Close to ferry to go on Isla Mujeres. Heated pools. Clean rooms. Extremely friendly and professional stuff. Perfect buffets and restaurants. Will definitely come again (with kids next time). Thank you so much !!! You made our vacation fabulous 😘

We stayed at riu peninsula end of January 2026, with friends, all four of us thoroughly enjoyed it, we had 2 ocean view rooms on the 6th floor with great views. The entire hotel was always spotless, never encountered an unpleasant staff member,food was plentiful and flavourful, the riu entertainment crew was exceptional, and beach was outstanding. we decided to venture out and visit riu las americas, riu Cancun, and next door riu caribe, for comparison,we were very happy to had made the choice of peninsula, the grounds, the space etc, large enough without being too large, las Americas and riu cancun had hardly any beach area, pool chairs all close together, peninsula and caribe beach wins by far! It is getting a refresh in April 2026 reopening in August and I can only say that it will be more beautiful. I rarely choose the same vacation place twice as there are many in this world, but I can honestly say I would return with no hesitation.

We have loved every minute of our stay at RIU Palace Peninsula. The amenities at this hotel are outstanding. But the most exceptional amenity is their outstanding staff. Everybody goes out of their way to ensure your comfort. Note… Danny is a fabulous yoga & tai chi coach!

Back for my 7th time my friends 2nd
I have stayed here 7 times and will be coming a lot more. Amstar started us right at the airport there waiting for us, wisked us to the Peninsula in great time. Alex was there to greet us with a great hug and smile saying welcome back Douglas and friends. Made us feel right at home, took us up to the front desk to meet Jay who got us our rooms 14th floor over the resturants, awesome view and room. We ran into are room cleaner Elaina who was the best. We unpacked sort of wanted to get to the bar and Steak Restaurant. We were greeted by the maitrade spelled wrong but he said hello Douglas, and friends. Got us a great table, and awesome waiters, then Lobster tails for me and Jerry and steak for Terry, over the top Then to the main bar, for drinks. Redolfo mgn. greeted us by names sat us down to drinks by Mara the best bartender. U get 4 partys a week next door at the Caribe.Jungle,White, Pink, Neon, all fun great people watching the dancers great, DJ very good. Resturants all great Italian Best Lamb chops ever, Mexican very good,Japanese awesome,Internathonal as good as others. If u have the gold band the specialty Rest. past the show room fabulos. Sports bar great food for all nite, for early birds and going on tours. open 24hrs. Take a day and go to Isla Maharis, sorry for bad spelling. But boat to there 200 yards away Blue and yellow Ultamare. This resort is great and will only get better with remodeling coming up can't wait I'll be there again.
