Lovely hotel, friendly staff, good food …
Hotel is very modern and well maintained. Rooms are spacious and lots of storage. Staff are very friendly. 3 pools, mini spa and gym. Great buffet breakfast and dinner. Easy access to the beach and local shops & restaurants- which offer variety for all budgets from everyday cages to 5* seafood dining, souvenirs to Gucci. If you are vegetarian and book to go to one of the hotel’s restaurants you need to let them know you are vegetarian in advance and then check when you get your food. The fusion restaurant knew we had a vegetarian and even that they didn’t like mushrooms, however still served them an appetiser of pheasant pate and caviar!! There are vegetarian options at the buffets but they are very carb based or just vegetables - they could do better in this front. A trip to Aqua world is great family fun and would recommend. We hired a self drive boat for a few hours and it was great! Warning: be aware for the early risers who place their towels on all the best sunbeds and then leave them unoccupied for hours on end. The hotel has no way of managing this. There are no clear signs to indicate this is not allowed - even though it is in their ‘rule book’ 🤣 and when you speak to the staff they say there is nothing they can do, just that you can go and move things yourself (which is not ideal!) It didn’t ruin the holiday but it was very annoying for many if the guests. The grounds are beautiful, calming and spacious - to make it even better they could use some of this space for a premium table tennis table, large drafts or some badminton, out of the way, but something for teens to do at the hotel. Final point - this is a very popular destination for Germans, so if you are not German and are looking to go and meet other families and make holiday friends then this is less likely here. Not an issue for us as we are quite happy keeping ourselves to ourselves, or not.

Overpriced Stay with Key Amenities Closed
I stayed in room 1415 for a three-night stay over the Easter weekend (Saturday to Monday), and unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations—especially considering the cost of nearly £1,400. While the buffet restaurant was available throughout the stay, we were given the option to try the à la carte “international gourmet” restaurant on one of the three nights. However, this restaurant was closed on both Sunday and Monday, which effectively meant we couldn’t take advantage of that option at all during our stay. Another major disappointment was the limited availability of key services. The spa and massage treatments were not operating on Sunday or Monday, which is surprising for a holiday weekend when guests are most likely to want to use these facilities. As a result, we had to look for alternative spa services outside the hotel. Additionally, car parking is extremely limited, and finding a space can be quite difficult, which added unnecessary inconvenience. Overall, for the price paid, the lack of availability of advertised services significantly impacted the experience. I would strongly recommend that future guests check exactly which facilities are operational during their stay dates before booking, as this was not clearly communicated.

Paradise !
The title says it all ! Another return visit to the Riu Palace Oasis and still as good as ever (if not better !) Everything about this place is fabulous - the rooms (clean, spacious, modern, well equipped), the public areas (immaculate and stunning), the facilities (3 lovely pools), the food (again, stunning - you will not go hungry or get bored with the variety/choice here) & the staff (so attentive, happy, considerate, polite and extremely hard working - they really do make their customers feel welcome and treat them all as individuals with respect & care. Nothing is too much trouble). The real icing on the cake though has to be the location. The grounds are simply paradise - an oasis of palm trees with stunning flora and fauna and wildlife interspersed with pathways, a pond and a waterfall. Pure peace, quiet & bliss. Coupled with easy access to miles of amazing beach one way, miles of promenade the other, a wildlife lagoon/charca and loads of shops/boutiques, bars & restaurants this place is unbeatable. We have visited multiple times now, are returning in September 2026 and have already rebooked for March 2027. We hope to continue visiting for many more years to come.
