The staff was very attentive and polite all the time. I’ve got to admire how they keep up the good athmosphere the whole day round. The hotel appeared very clean, the breakfast and buffet had an extremely wide selection so you can easily have a different type of dinner every night. The room safety box was included in the price at least this time. Wi-fi worked well, you could always find a spot by the pool, the entertainment at nights was adequate too. Water and other staples you can get conveniently from a supermarket just across the street!

Let’s start with the positives, the staff are excellent and cannot do enough for you. The food is first class and befitting of a hotel of this style. The location on the dunes is impressive and it’s easy walking or transport to links to everything. Then we come to the WiFi, let’s remember it’s 2026 and we all use and need it. The WiFi service is intermittent at best, if I logged in within my room, I could be logged out ten minutes later and logging in was an over complex 3 stage process. The GYM - poor at best. Machines from the 1990s, no free weights above 10kg and no space for stretching or mobility work. Our room 1046 - now I raised this with staff after a few days and they offered to move us, but we didn’t want the upheaval. That said the room is adjacent to the cleaners cupboard and above the kitchen. (It’s noisy) and the balcony gets no direct sunlight. Just decline this room. Finally a bottle of water in the minibar in the room is €3.40, which seems fair. A bottle of still water at the dinner table, half the size of the minibar is the same price! Surely a hotel of this staying can provide free water at dinner? This is an impressive looking establishment and the staff work really hard, the issues are raise are my own and to raise awareness.

What No Fizz?
Love this hotel, but can you believe they've stopped providing those two little bottles of fizz to welcome you to your room. Just a bottle of water and that wasn't even the fizzy sort. OK it may be only a little thing, but little things count (at least that's what the wife says). So, those in charge, bring back those 2 little bottles and add a bit of sparkle.
