Fantastic hotel Staff were so accommodating always a smile happy to help if required, hard working and made our holiday one of the best ever. Super clean the cleaning team have done themselves and the hotel proud. Waiters and waitresses were top of their game always there if required. Lovely updated room. Managers around to say hello morning to evening. Pool lovely with staff around if you need beverages. Live acts to watch if needed. Only disappointment was I organised a special day for our silver 25 wedding anniversary which they forgot, they placed flowers in the room a day or two later which helped out with my mrs thinking I had forgot. Not a complaint more an afterthought next year I will double check they remember the correct date. We have travelled to many hotels and this hotel is up with the best. All we can do is nothing but praise we were that impressed we have re booked for 2025 and really looking forward to receiving the same standards. Thanks again Rui and the hotel Keep up the great work See you all soon x

Our second visit to this 5* Hotel, Reception 10/10, great welcome and departure Room 10/10 because we had a sea view balcony with amazing sunrises every morning. Cleaning to a high standard, but the staff kept putting the twin beds back together some days! Restaurant staff 8/10 this second visit made it clear that preference was given, by most staff, to long time repeat guests, along with German, French and Spanish nationals. Whilst this did not impact our holiday it did feel we were not as valued as other guests, and it had to be mentioned. The standout STAR staff was REUBEN, a waiter inside at breakfast his work ethic was great. ( he was a STAR last year also) Restaurant food 9.5/10, great choices each evening Pool 10/10 although the three tiles missing last year from the floor of the pool are still missing. Pool Bar 9/10 overpriced! Overall another great holiday, yes the review is a little picky but it's how we felt 56.5/60 Will we return YES ABSOLUTELY 💯

Excellent Hotel
The hotel was excellent, i couldn't fault the room, food and pool area. The staff were friendly and eager to make sure you were completely satisfie. Only negative was the lack of shops, bars etc in the near vicinity, although conveniently there was a supermarket across the road from the hotel.

Amazing Hotel and Fantastic Staff
Due to Covid and personal reasons my last trip to Gran Canaria was in 2012. This hotel was great then but the introduction of Adult Only and a complete upgrade has made it an even better experience, in my opinion. Some of the long serving members of the team are still there and some even remembered me. That’s incredible in my eyes. I have nothing negative to say about my holiday and I have booked again for Christmas 2024.

Had a reasonable expectations for a hotel of 4,5 Trip advisors ratings (and some hotel apps, too) and I know now, why they don’t have full 5 points: be prapared for lack of the sea/dune view from the balcony, low room accessories and lame room interior design. Don’t let the lobby pic impress you. First time at Riu hotel and disappoited. A cruice ship on a land.
