May 15, 2025Super clean, very accommodating, and lots to do
I came here for a birthday trip and upon realizing it was my birthday I got exceptional recognition and service from people such as Bryan at the Reception Desk and Maria and Paty, servers at the Isla Mujeres. I loved how friendly MOST of the staff was, especially Angel and Carlitos from the adult Mezcal swim up bar who made an effort to remember my name and my favorite drink order which was very appreciated. I only experienced few negative interactions but one that set the tone for the trip poorly was Adriano from the Tequila swim up bar. I ordered two white tea shots, he made me two Bloody Caesars… I still tried the drink but I informed him it’s not what I ordered and I didn’t like it. He argued me down, telling me it is what I ordered and essentially didn’t want to make me another drink. I had to insist on another drink and ordered two tequila shots and he gave me two shots of whatever cocktail was leftover from another guest. It was VERY off putting and I never went back there again which is disappointing because I feel like I missed out on apart of the resort.

Soooo goood
I honestly cannot belive their service at this hotel we are the couple for the wedding party and the staff has been nothing but fantastic and always willing and happy to help! The food is phenomenal the cleaning is out standing what left me to leave this review was simply because of how I was addressed by accidentally pressing the wrong button in the elevator and the professionalism is top tier compared to other resorts. So happy we selected this resort for our wedding destination. Also saw the training process first hand I can understand why staff enjoys working for Riu thrive and do a fantastic job. Thank you for a wonderful vacation

Dunamr was awesome
Resort and service is really good onky thing we had problem.in our room was all the plugs to charge your phone were loose and did not work.

Christiano the BARTENDER 🍺
What an amazing guy Christiano is. He serves the very best drinks, and makes you laugh at all times of the day. I highly recommend paying him a visit while at the resort, he will surely make your day. This is the one guy on the resort that made Riu Dunamar exceed expectations, especially with customer service. Be sure to request the drinks in which he created: Adios MF, and Pink Monkey.

Amazing experience, service especially at the sports bar was great. Cristiano was an amazing host and tended to our needs to the max! 10/10 would recommend a stay. Will visit again for many more amazing memories to keep and cherish forever!
