Wonderful Service!
We spent 5 nights/6 days at Riu Caribe. Every staff member we came in contact with was so warm and welcoming. Any questions we had were quickly answered. The resort was so clean and fresh. Our room was beautiful and the ocean view did not disappoint! The food was great and there was a nice variety of restaurants to choose from.

Great Stay
We went on a family vacation, arriving at the RIU Caribe on November 9. Our group consisted of my wife and myself along with our two daughters and their families. Our first contact at the Caribe was with Carla at the concierge desk. She personified the warm and courteous service that we received for the entire week. Everyone was extremely helpful. This made our trip a special one. Our three couples were celebrating milestone anniversaries and we were thrilled to have rooms on the sixth floor with each room having a gorgeous ocean view. The rooms like the entire complex was immaculate, very well furnished and exceptionally clean. The hotel has been designed very well. Everything is within close walking distance. We have heard that in some other hotels in Cancun there is a 10-15 minute walk to get to the beach. At the Cariibe it only took a couple of minutes. The beach itself was very nice with many beach loungers. We walked on the beach past other hotels Our beach was definitely the best. Others that we saw had difficult access with rocks surrounding the beach and very little swimming area. We really appreciated that no reservations were required at the specialty restaurants. They all were very good. We were able to visit each one and enjoyed them all. The buffet restaurant, Coral, was also very good. Breakfasts and lunches were great. There was a restaurant adjacent to the swim up bar where burgers, , hot dogs nachos and fries were available. The bars served whatever you asked for. They even had Caesars and customized them according to my preference. The pool bar was very popular. At the Sports bar there were pool tables and also large TVs to watch various sports. The entertainment staff was wonderful, organizing various tournaments which included darts,. Bocci ball, cornhole, pingpong and even an iron man competition. The entertainment at the Calypso theatre was very good although at times a bit loud. There was nothing scheduled on the nights that the pool parties were on. Our granddaughter attended all four of the parties, pink, white, jungle and blue and really enjoyed them. Our hotel rooms were really soundproof and for those that didn't go to the parties, we weren't djsturbed. Both the pool bar and the pool ladies are restricted to those 18 years and older. When checking in, you are given a colored bracelet which shows if you are an adult or not. This was our first "family" trip since the pandemic. We had a ,great time and this was in large way due to the wonderful sfaff. They are genuinely nice.I this made our vacation very soecial.

Book this one.
Myself and my friend have just got back from an 11 night stay at Riu Caribe and are both very sad to be back. The weather, location and hotel all exceeded expectations. It’s a little far from the airport but once you arrive absolutely everything is taken care of. The hotel was recently renovated - only this summer - and it’s simply beautiful throughout. The only real exception was the entertainment theatre / bar ‘Calypso’ which still wears the old decor and makes you wonder how they ever sold rooms here before the renovation. The buffet serves a wide selection of food and there’s always plenty of fresh meat, vegetarian and Mexican dishes to try. There’s also specialty restaurants which operate on a ‘first come, first served’ basis but you can join a wait list and you’re not limited to how often you choose to use them during your stay. These are prettier and more intimate than the buffet restaurant but food is of a similar standard. The hotel has three pools, one with a poolside bar. There’s also a 24 hour sports bar off the lobby serving light meals and drinks. Also off the lobby there is a small shop selling essentials as well as tourist souvenirs. It’s expensive but the selection is good. Also on offer are activities like dance classes and aqua aerobics as well as the Riu Party which takes place at the neighbouring Riu property. At the Caribe there is also a good (but small) gym and a pretty (but very expensive) spa. We chose against any treatments as simply couldn’t justify $100+ for a massage which was a shame as the facilities did look nice. Besides the all inclusive offering is already so generous that you don’t necessarily feel the need to go for more. If you did want a massage, there are other places locally and the buses run regularly in both directions and cost a meagre $1 regardless of distance travelled. All in all, this hotel delivers pretty much on every level. I like to keep it interesting and try new places but I’d still happily return to the Caribe at any time. To all the staff, management etc. putting in the work to deliver a fantastic holiday to all, thank you.

Great hotel
Lovely hotel, everything was clean and comfortable. Service was great and the staff are amazing! The food was good too and they had a wide selection of dishes. Not too close to the bars but not an issue as we got the bus or a cab.
