General Policies & Fine Print
Check-in Policy - Deposits or credit/debit card hold authorizations are not requested at check-in. "Minimum age of 18 is required for check-in, an ID/Passport will be requested upon arrival.
Convention Policy : Groups traveling together can book this property for their stay taking advantage of group benefits such as 6th or 11th complimentary guest, Group dinner reservation, One complimentary cocktail hour with a selection of appetizers, One complimentary massage for the group leader, Complimentary room upgrades to the next category, Fruit plate and bottle of wine for the VIP, Private check-in when arriving together, Welcome sign. Applicable with Wedding Collections and Social Packages. Consult terms & conditions.
Spring Break Policies -
1. Student / Spring Breaker Groups (21 years of age or older) will be accepted ONLY at Riu Cancun & Riu Caribe.
2. All Student / Spring Breaker Group reservations are strictly On Request and will be reviewed on a case by case basis by the corresponding Destination Sales Department. RIU Hotels & Resorts reserves the right of admission and may reject any request at its sole discretion.
3. If a Student / Spring Breaker Group is accepted:
a. The number of rooms will be deducted from the contracted allotments
b. Minimum Age requirement: 21 years of age or older.
c. The Hotel may request proof of age in the form of passport or official ID
d. Each room must submit a signed liability agreement upon check-in.
4. At all other RIU properties Student Groups / Spring Breakers (either groups or individuals, regardless of age) are not allowed at any time during the year.
5. Guests disturbing or generating complaints from other guests or hotel may be removed from the property, at their own expense.
a. Parties in rooms are not permitted
6. Student / Spring Breaker Groups must comply with any protocols (hotel and government) in place at the time of stay at the hotel.
Transfer Policy - A price may display when children stay free, if your vacation includes transfer to your hotel.
General Information - Room taxes and service fees are included in vacation price.

The resort was absolutely beautiful! We got an upgrade to ocean front room with the large balcony. It was amazing! I could have stayed on the balcony the whole time. The beds were so comfortable. I was a little worried about that as I stayed at the RIU Cancun last year and the beds were so uncomfortable. The beach was beautiful. I would definitely stay at this resort again and highly recommend it.

Fantastic resort
Excellent resort, food and service. Beautiful beach, only thing lacking is some extra palm trees for shade in the afternoon. Restaurants have delicious foods. Snack bars excellent. Everything is at a short walk.

Caribe on the beach!!
Fun time! Beach was good. Party and music good! Buffet good. Good location, still able to get to the mall area with a quick $1 bus ride! Was really impressed with restaurant food but the spent at restaurants was fun! The pool bar was the best part of our stay! Get down there!!

RIU Cancun Amazing (no more tequila please)
RIU Carbie Hotel, should be your number one choice, the pool party’s are out of this world. It’s none stop party, if you love to party then this hotel is a must! You won’t be disappointed. The food in the restaurants are amazing highly recommend. You can go without booking them which is a bonus! You can go as many times as you want! And the food is out of this world! The pool is great alway entertainment during the day, the staff never let you go without a drink, very attentive making your stay the dream (drunken) holiday you deserve. Another bonus, the all inclusive food and drink have plenty of options. You get your usually cocktails, pink gin, Prosecco, wine, absolute raspberry vodka, beer, whisky and tequila. (Of course) Food, snack bar hot dogs, burgers, chips, tacos and chicken nuggets. Good luck with keeping up with all the partying. Pink party, jungle party, white party and neon party. Some through day others on night. Download the RIU APP so you never miss a party! Make sure to tip the staff, they go above and beyond. And really appreciate you as a guest at their hotel, they made our stay very welcoming. The only down fall I would give this hotel is… the gym it’s not big enough! And alway full. RIU gym needs to be bigger it’s not big enough for us a massive hotel with a lot of guests. Equipment all in very good working condition just a shame, there wasn’t more training equipment to use. Make sure you book the explore trip while you’re there. Highly recommend it! As long as you’re not scared of height! As well as booking coco bongos the show is out of this world worth every pennie! Don’t go Mexico without going to see Coco bongos show. (Saturday night Mask night). Book VIP gold worth it unlimited drinks good seating. Thank you to all the bar staff, restaurant staff, cleaners and so on for making our holiday the best stay. High recommend to all.
