The staff was amazing. Food was great at the Japanese restaurant. Buffet was hit or miss each day. I didn’t like that they close the pools at 7pm. My room had a funny damp smell to it. The walls are super thin, i could hear people in the hallway and in the rooms next to me. The resort is a lil outdated. I would say you get what you pay for.

As always, this resort is great. I did notice the stage shows did not offer English/Spanish as much as previous years. We reserved a king size bed and it was not comfortable since it was just two beds pushed together with a crack between and each bed was made up individually.

Great resort excellent entertainment and service and food I shall return and recommend to friends and family to visit ,great choice of food and everyone who works there great team

Not 5 star
Hotel ok not 5 star, rooms tired food good but repetitive, entertainment the same and all bands only play Mexican music. Don't really cater for other nations. The wider area not safe in my opinion as we got robbed but I guess that's just the area. I wouldn't visit again.

Wonderful!
My husband and I traveled together to get away for my 40th birthday! Everyone that works there was amazing! We had wonderful service from the time we arrived until we left. The beds were a bit firmer than I would have liked but otherwise we enjoyed everything. You could go to the “party pool” or go and hang out and just relax in a chill pool area. Lots of options!

2. All Student / Spring Breaker Group reservations are strictly On Request and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the corresponding Destination Sales Department. RIU Hotels & Resorts reserves the right of admission and may reject any request at its sole discretion.
3. Each Student / Spring Breaker Group request will be reviewed and quoted on a case-by-case basis. Quoted rates may be higher than current FIT/Group rates.
4. Student / Spring Breaker Groups are excluded from our Price match policy for contracted groups!
5. If a Student / Spring Breaker Group is accepted:
a. The number of rooms will be deducted from the contracted allotments
b. Minimum Age requirement: 21 years of age or older.
c. The Hotel may request proof of age in the form of passport or official ID
d. Each room must submit a signed liability agreement upon check-in.
6. At all other RIU properties Student Groups / Spring Breakers (either groups or individuals,
regardless of age) are not allowed at any time during the year
7. Guests disturbing or generating complaints from other guests or hotel may be removed
from the property, at their own expense.

8. Definition of Student / Spring Breaker Groups
High school through college aged individuals who vacation in traditional or FIT Groups to celebrate their Spring Break.Any group or individual with these characteristics arriving at any Riu Hotel not listed above will not be admitted on property with no refund.Please be advised that Riu Hotels & Resorts will use any and all means at our disposal to identify and cancel suspected Student / Spring Breaker Groups. Partners should abstain from quoting Riu properties for groups which they suspect may be youths traveling together for said purposes.
9. With regards to Riu Liability in these cases.
RIU Hotels & Resorts is in no way responsible for the consequences and or lawsuits that may ensue due to rejection of unauthorized spring breakers arriving on Riu property. Riu Hotels and Resorts withholds right of admission and will take the necessary steps to safeguard the All-inclusive leisure experience for which it prides itself, and which our mutual clients have come to expect. We consider it our obligation to protect those clients against unruly, unsecure, unhealthy, dangerous, noisy, obnoxious and in any other way, disruptive behavior. Riu Hotels and Resorts has a zero-tolerance policy in regards to this issue.
10. Student / Spring Breaker Groups must comply with any protocols (hotel and government) in place at the time of stay at the hotel.
