  Short break in good hotel

  We stayed here for four nights. The hotel has the same corporate design as other RIU hotels we’ve stayed in. The bedroom was spacious, as was the shower. Staff friendly and courteous. Good in the main restaurant was excellent, with wide variety, and high quality. In line with local laws there is a restriction on the amount of alcohol served to clients on All Inclusive. It’s three drinks at lunch, and the same with dinner. This wasn’t an issue for us. The snack bar at the pool was problematic. Regrettably, there was an austere offering of cold meats and cheese, and bread, allowing guests to make their own sandwiches. There was fruit, and cakes. But no hot food; no chips or chicken or hot dogs. I know as I write this I will come across as petty and Northern European. But if children have been in and out the pool all day, that’s what they want. The indoor pool was closed during our stay. The spa features two jacuzzis, but the water is cold. The steam room was not reliably a steam room. Most of the time there was no steam, regardless of what reception staff insisted. The gym is small, but the equipment is excellent, with resistance training machines, free weights, treadmills, and static bikes. It’s also worth mentioning that the clientele were predominantly German, although there were a few French and British guests. The hotel is located in a German area of the island.

  Riu BRavo Palma a place to be

  We had a truly wonderful holiday at Palma de Mallorca, staying at the RIU Bravo hotel. We couldn't be happier with our choice! The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach, and all the services provided were simply exceptional. We would like to give a special thank you to the Front Desk team, especially Neiva, Loraine, and Sonia (to name just a few of the incredibly polite and helpful staff members). A huge praise also goes to the Food & Beverage department and the excellent management of the Maître, Ms. Sandra. In short, this hotel is a little gem if you want to enjoy a fantastic time with top-notch, highly attentive service. Kudos to all the waiters, bartenders, and the entire staff of the RIU Bravo. We will definitely see you next time!

  Great experience in RIU bravo.

  The hotel is situated a 2 min walk from the beach, with lots of bars, shops and restaurants along the promenade. We travelled in early October, but it was still quite lively with a good atmosphere. The beach is lovely, clean, and the water is crystal clear, with little fish swimming close to shore. It's well worth catching the sunset from here. We had a slightly larger room with balcony, it was kept very clean. The beds were comfortable and huge! ( two "singles" on one frame ). The room was large, as was the bathroom, and the storage space was excellent. There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, but we brought our own, and there's a handy area to plug in. The food was really good, always a large selection, hot and cold, I'm Coeliac, but everything has allergy notices, and I had no trouble finding a large selection of food. I didn't ask about gluten free bread. You can book two à la carte restaurants, and these seemed underutilised..I don't know why.. "Ole!" the Spanish-themed one was particularly good. Many people mention the drink policy..as long as you know beforehand, we didn't find it a problem. Outside the restaurant, a generous glass of red was about E3.5 I think, and a large beer ( good brand ) E4.00. Getting a good pool position was not easy..most of the clientele are German and like to be down early. The grounds are nice and there were two pool areas. There is a small indoor pool, which was not open yet. We had a late afternoon flight, and though checkout was 12, we were allowed lunch, which was much appreciated. The staff were very good. This hotel compares well to 5-star hotels we've stayed in.

  Great trip

  We had a great trip. Only a few things it would have been nice to have a bottle of water in the room, also a kettle for making tea and coffee and also an iron would have been nice.other than that it was lovely

  Great hotel, clientele left a lot to be desired

  Hotel was really nice. Staff helpful and friendly. Rooms nice daily cleaning. Small fridge but no kettle if you like your early morning fix.Location few hundred metres to a lovely sandy beach and great for swimming. Our big problem was it was a hotel full of Germans some extremely rude. I’m sure they wouldn’t have spoken to a man like they did and definitely not their own nationality. The All Inclusive is a laugh.( I didn’t read correctly) however portions of beer were that it served was in a wine glass!!!. 3 glasses at lunch and same at dinner.Or of course 3 glasses of wine lunch/dinner. The long beach strip was German bars and restaurants, we didn’t find any international or English places.
