Viva Las Vegas, Slater~Brooks Style!!!
Due to the Increase In Everything the Resort fee was $6 more than 2021, I was Cool with it! I enjoyed my 4 days at Rio. I was looking forward to doing Zipline but it wasn’t offered during the winter time. I love the vendors at Rio All Sites Hotel & Casino. I think they a very incredible people! I look forward to going back in the Summer when the pool is open!!

Not someplace I would visit again
Let me start by saying- I am an upbeat person and I look for the good in everything! I am currently leaning against the window to be able to write this review. There is NO cell signal here and the wi-fi only includes 2 devices. Not 2 devices at a time, but 2 devices per visit. Anything beyond that is $15 per day per device...for horrible internet. PROS: -Most of the people we have interacted with have been very nice. The housekeeping staff, the lady at check-in, and the restaraunt staff have all been kind and helpful. -The rooms are ugly and dated, but clean. -We have seen lots of people walking to the strip. It's about a 20 minute walk (according to maps) and looks to be pretty easy. CONS: -Resort fee is higher than most and they don't have very good amenities. -Terrible internet/cell signal. I'm here for work and even logging into the unsecured wifi, I can't access my work programs. -The beds so bad, my husband cannot move after sleeping here 3 nights. He's currently laying on the 1980's couch because it's more comfortable. -The carpets/furniture/fixtures are all worn and stained. -The outlets are so old, nothing stays plugged in. --The lamps have landline outlets- the ones you used for dial-up access- but no power plug-in -No clock/alarm, microwave -EVERYTHING is overpriced! I am used to paying more at hotels, but $6 for a water bottle is asinine, especially considering that the tap water tastes like its recycled grey-water. -Breakfast for 2 runs around $40-$60 -In a 2 queen bed "suite" there are 4 drawers for clothing/belongings. -If you're going to UBER, request the masquerade tower. The only place uber is allowed is the self park garage on the masquerade plaza side. -Everything on this floor is LOUD. The heater, the toilet (sounds like an airplane flush) the doors, the beds.. -We arrived during a gaming conference and the wait for the elevators has been over an hour at times...even with 6 elevators. -Everything in this hotel is in disrepair, even in VooDoo. $100 steaks with a drippy ceiling tile. -The pool, including the hot tubs, is closed for thr season (I'm here in January) Conclusion: The price online looks good, but when you add in the unusually high resort fee vs the "amenities" offered, the value is low. I would not book here again. Photos show: 1)the online photo of the rooms 2 & 4) Pricing at the All American "sports bar" 3) Carlo's in the vending machine ♡♡♡♡ YUM! 5) What our room actually looks like. They're big but dark and old. Lots of wasted space.

Goldfish, Blackjack and Gems Oh My
Goldfish(hard to find epic slot machine), Blackjack and Big Suites were all positive items. Got a huge suite for cheap price to which separate living room and super huge bathroom with spa, whirlpool etc. Excellent value to be honest. Would have been cool if there were some amenities or mini bar tho so has room for improvement. Read bad reviews which had me skeptical but found them to be illegitimate in my experience however, I also did not buy a standard room. For Las Vegas this place is a great value and vibe especially if solo and have a flight the next day as cab service is prevalent right outside the hotel entrance and is a bit off the strip so unsure if that helped get to airport faster.

NOT Great, All-American Bar and Grill Rip Off
Rooms are okay not great. Advertised as all suites, but not a "suite". The room was very large with a sitting area. But I consider a "suite" as a bedroom with a door separate from the sitting area. The thing than really left me feeling ripped off were two drinks at the "All-American Bar Grill" that cost $43. FOR TWO AVERAGE DRINKS!!! Nothing special and of course that did not include the tip for the bartender. So NO a big NO to ever staying at the RIO again. And the Rio is not even ON the Las Vegas Strip.
