Terrible customer service
Had $300 worth of clothes stolen from the laundry mat and they were unwilling to do anything about it. I know there is only so much they can do and they really can’t really reimburse me, but there laundry mat never said they weren’t liable for lost or stolen goods and there are security cameras right outside they door and they were unwilling and unable to check the tape. I put the laundry in at midnight and came back for it at 6am so a very short window in my mind. Anyway, still upset at my clothes being stolen and it’s even more frustrating that they were so unhelpful. Almost seems like they are trying to cover up something. Terrible customer service.
is this the breakfast?
three nights here. First morning, an ample breakfast with a variety of foods and enough plates and cutlery for the guests. Last two mornings: no forks, no bread, no butter (but without bread, who needs butter?), limited hot entrees, short on coffee. I guess if you expect breakfast, ask them if it will be available during your stay. This hotel is Marriot-Light.
Excellent Stay and Breakfast!
I picked this hotel on a whim based on reviews. It cost about $20 more than comparables, and I'm glad I chose this place! Staff was super helpful and got me a room that met my goals. The location is really convenient, and surprisingly quiet (and I'm funny about this). I paid $10 extra to get the suite instead of the studio, which gives you a door between the living area and sleeping/bathroom - really nice. When I have the fan running on the Heat/Air, I can't hear anything, and I slept very well. The deco is pleasant and bright, things are clean. I was surprised that this has a full studio kitchen (minus an oven), but super handy. The hot breakfast options were very good (hot eggs, bacon, waffles, biscuits/gravy) plus cold assortments. I enjoyed my night so much I stayed an extra night - and surprise, the hot breakfast was different, and equally good (two different egg souflets, chorizo/potato burritos, waffles). . They have a firepit that's quite popular (claim your seats early), and with the right room you can catch a nice view of the sunset behind a vast wall of mountains on the horizon.
This was our second visit to this property and the first since COVID. As previously stated this is a newer, modern, smart facility. The breakfast staff still goes out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Room service has been discontinued but staff will bring you anything you need. We were only there three nights so the lack of room service wasn't a bother to us.
We were very happy with this place. The rooms were nice and big. We wanted the suite which has the door and separates the two rooms. The room is perfect for extended stays- full size fridge and freezer, microwave, hot plate, coffee maker and dishwasher. The room stayed cool and the bed was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was good for free hotel breakfast- happy with it. Pool looked nice. Minimal room noise and the front desk unattended for short time in the morning were the only very minor complaints. Price seemed spot on for this property. There is a Marriott property across the street but it didn’t come with the same amenities (breakfast, pool). There was a nice pit area. This was pretty dang close to my idea of a perfect hotel.
