Great resort for families in Oranjestad
Renaissance Aruba is a fantastic hotel for families. We stayed at Ocean Suites for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rose Ann recognized my wife’s Titanium status at check-in and although an upgrade was not available for our first night, she secured us an upgrade for the remaining 5 night to a room with a better view, which was greatly appreciated. The suites have a great layout for families. Continental breakfast was included for Titanium members with an option to upgrade to the full buffet for $6 pp, which we thought was quite reasonable. Liliana E, Marianela and Daniela at the Fresco restaurant were amazing with helping us with whatever we needed for breakfast. Ai Zhen at the omelette station was also great! The hotel’s beach and pool area by ocean suites is great for families with young kids. The sheltered beach is great for young children to swim in. One of the best parts of our stay was being able to visit the beautiful Renaissance Island, which is 10 minutes away by boat. My son absolutely loved feeding the flamingos and the island was picturesque. Although we were told that kids could only visit the adults-only Flamingo Beach between 9-10am, we found that the flamingos hung out at the family beach quite a bit throughout the day. We also enjoyed breakfast at the Papagayo Restaurant on the island. Can’t wait to visit this wonderful resort again in our future visits to Aruba!

Trust is Key
If you can’t trust a Renaissance/Marriott Hotel as a long time Bonvoy member, who can you trust? Booked our room for this property in June 2023 for an ocean view Executive Suite. Trip is in January 2024. First time to Aruba so wanted this to be extra special for our anniversary. Checked on our room in the Marriott app last night and the reservation had disappeared. After some calls it looks like someone at the hotel downgraded our room with an ocean view and rebooked us to a lower level room with a resort view and the downgraded room reservation somehow lost the Marriott Bonvoy member #. Looked to rebook it and wouldn’t you know, the room prices have increased significantly! I guess there’s a penalty for pre-planning? Shame on you Marriott Wind Creek Aruba Resort for treating us like this. We are Platinum members and always favor Marriott brands. So disappointing.

Ocean Suites
Excellent stay at the Ocean Suites. Room was spotless and always clean. I would like to recognize Candida and Elvelina for there hospitality. Also, Fresco was excellent for breakfast and dinner! Be there again soon!

Great Pool Bar
We didn’t stay this year, but we stayed there in 2021. Such an amazing place, I had to go to the pool bar just to see Ebony! We took the exact same photos. We can’t wait to stay at this hotel again!

Honeymoon Special
Our honeymoon in Aruba was great! Upon arriving in Aruba we were picked up and taken to the Renaissance Wind Creek Resort where we were greeted by Chimay Giel. The resort and atmosphere was more than we expected. The staff and general manager were very accommodating. The location was excellent and convenient for dining and shopping. Our overall experience was great. What stood out most to us was the way we were treated as guest by Chimay Giel her friendliness and warm smile made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. I can't leave out the good food that was service during breakfast at the Renaissance Wine Creek Resort. We look forward to coming back next year to explore some more of the island. Delores & Clinton
